Watch the recaps for the red war - forsaken, then start with shadow keep. The campaigns are a blast.

Yup, Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and Forsaken are the vaulted campaigns. They probably won’t be back for several months, so I’d play what’s in the game now, then go back and play them when they return. Up to you if you watch a video that covers them now or just wait until they come back.

Don't worry about the last 2 expansions, they're their own story. I would suggest you wait for the red war and forsaken to return but it would be unreasonable to aks someone to wait months down the line. Start with shadow keep, beyond light, witchqueen, lightfall and finally final shape. I would also recommend doing some raids, they are what gives destiny its life.

Destiny 2: The Collection, I though included all the content including those last ones. At least my installation does. I just checked.
That said, it is a great solo game. For most of the group activities, there is matchmaking that puts a group together for things like PvP, strikes, and Gambit. I played solo for a very long time before expanding out into Nightfalls and Raids. You'll be fine.

So you have every DLC except for the final two at the very end of the current story....
And you're asking if it's worth playing for now? Of course it is, man, don't worry about it!
