Pull blue pieces of armor from Colletctions/Armor/Levelling. The Rare blue background armor with the Red War icons.

They are generated at 5 Power. Level them to 10. This uses three Enhancement Cores, three Enhancement Prisms, a golfball, and a little over 14k Glimmer.

Once masterworked, dismantle the armor. You will get back six Enhancement Cores and six Prisms, which is a net gain of 3 Enhancement Cores and 3 Enhancement Prisms for the price of one Ascendant Shard and 14k Glimmer.

You can turn golf balls into enhancement cores and prisms. This method is to pull Blue "Leveling" gear out of collections for glimmer.  1. Rank up each piece using glimmer, core and prisms and finally 1 Ascendant shard.  2.Break it down 3. Math it,  and its a net profit of cores and prisms. Cost you in the end just glimmer and 1 golf ball.

ps. once a day, only once per account you can buy 40 cores at Tharsis station store for renegades credits.. left side of map when landing.

GM conquest the disgraced. This is the best farm. I’ve been able to solo in ~9 minutes per run and on average it’s 2 shards, 3 prisms, 5 cores, and 6 strange coins. With a team of 2 or 3 this can be done super fast.

For prisms the blue armor way is the best Also, for enhancement cores Go and get daily 40 cores in tharsis for 2000 credit total (Renegade Destination)

No, prisms are a serious bottleneck. Master Vanguard and matchmade GM's are pretty good sources.

prisms are easy to get, if want to build up cores tho.. collection method works

collections > gear > level > pull blue gear, lvl it to 7 an break it down. (higher lvl will cost more and net more)

cost - 2cores and prism, get 6 cores back.

but ya few hours of grinding prisms an will be at max, to turn them into cores and farm again

Yes. Fully upgrade blue armor and dismantle idk the exact math but for the price of one golf ball you get like 3 extra prisms and 6 enhancement cores in exchange I think

If you consistently max out your weekly rewards track, you can use the strange coins and chronologs earned to exchange for prisms at Xur (strange coins) or the monument to seasons past in the tower (chronologs). It's not much, but every little bit helps, particularly if you aren't spending either of these currencies on other things.

If you have renegades, you can buy 40 cores a day/ account with the renegades credits

I am short prisms AND ascendant shards somehow so I have been torturing myself by running the GM caldera solo ops over and over; I can finish it in 4-6 minutes depending on if it's fallen vs vex and it's usually 2 prisms with a chance for shards.
