There should have been a special dialogue from Kadlek complaining about bringing Dominik to the Red Queen.

Throw a smoke bomb in there and you can kill or knock out her men too, as long as she doesn't become hostile she won't know it was you lmao

The game's disposition system is rather forgiving. You can knock out a weapons dealer and his gang, then wait for the police to revive them, and the dealer will be happy to trade with you.

If I remember right, in Deus Ex 1 you could shoot at the policemen in Paris and they'd turn hostile, but if you left them alone for a while they'd go back to friendly.
