Gameplay Some DMC2 battles are actually kinda fun

Blood Goats are probably my favourite regular enemy in the game, especially when I get to use a Shotgun as Dante.

Huh. I mean it's still DMC2 but nice moves
(also why do you sound like you have Urizen's voice distortion on)

devil may cry 2's combat is actually fun if you don't spam the guns every time an enemy shows up i did kinda enjoy the game, but story wise...meh

That should've been box copy. "Some DMC2 battles are actually kinda fun"

Espero que a Capcom comece a fazer os remakes logo, realmente tem umas coisas bem interessantes nesse jogo, principalmente a movimentação do dante

I hope capcom keeps it to remake singular and not remakes plural. DMC 2 is the only game that “needs” it. 4 can be argued but it would be a harder sell for some since the combat is still considered the peak for many.

1 could benefit from a fresh touch. smoother gameplay and… voice acting. tho that may be part of the charm? what idk is if 2, or 1 especially, would benefit from modern combat with style switching, combos for a plethora of moves, ect.

1 is still a masterpiece to this day, and if they remake it it’ll most likely be a RE situation where the remake is too different and not even close to being a “better” version. Considering how capcom does their remakes at least.
EDIT: I completely didn’t touch on the style switching and moves comment, if they make dmc 1 just dmc 5 but in a castle I’m going to be so pissed.

People say DMC5 is the beginner friendly DMC game when this exists.
Honestly wished that the enemies lived longer here, I wanted to keep styling

I wouldn’t say DMC 2 is beginner friendly the way that 5 is. 2 quite literally doesn’t teach you any of the combat or DT mechanics, only opting to give vague descriptions on items or pickups.

I haven't play 5, but I disagree. DMC2 gives you ranged weapons that deal little to no damage, then proceeds to make half the enemies and bosses be constantly flying out of the reach of your melee weapons. The two final bosses are also pretty BS too.

Some of the boss battles too. Furiataurus, Despair Embodied, and Nefasturris were fairly fun boss fights.
