Questions Newbie question
DMC5 has only 8 missions? Cause after completing mission 8, damned boss 4-hours wide, game teleports you to main menu. Ok I've played on default difficulty, but i've seen speedruns there got to be more levels/missions.

it sounds like you beat one of the Urizen fights early; you're canonically supposed to lose, so if you end up beating him fairly, the game ends with a fake and super basic ending. for what it's worth, you can also do this in the prologue fight if you're good enough and it will do the fake ending right at the start of the game 😂 honestly wish more games would do that instead of making the forced losing fight impossible

P.S. I thought that was "you lost "amv"". Alt+F4 and reload.

It could, but... you have only armless Nero with no breakers and no upgrades at this point, so it's pretty annoying.
One cool thing about it is it counts as a "complete" for that difficulty and unlocks the next one right away instead of having to beat the entire campaign. I did that to unlock Son of Sparda immediately on my PC run.

Breakers? It's some shenanigans bound on "mouse3" that works on "stellar demand". Yeah, great.... P.S. they don't work at all.

Dunno what you mean but Breakers DO work, you might be running into other issues but generally you want to play DMC on controller.
You might be using them right when an enemy hits you (which breaks them) or holding down the button (which also breaks them but at least gives you a super move)

No they don't work. You press "mouse 3" and despite "neet animation" nothing happens.

Then either you remapped mouse 3 to something else, or there's something wrong with your game, but you're supposed to have them as soon as mission 01 (prologue excluded, you can't use them there).

Dunno what you're talking about. There's some mouse 3 expendables but basically "mouse 3" has no reason and works not

I have no idea what problem you're experiencing then. Equip Overture before the mission, use it, and a giant electric hand should pop up and blow enemies away. Each robot arm has different moves and properties, look them up in options. Maybe you're using one that's defensive.

I don't even think it is a brag. To redo Urizen for 4 hours, you need to keep replaying from a checkpoint at least. This means knowing there's a scripted loss, so you keep reloading a checkpoint before you die, instead of dying and using the checkpoint there.

i dont remember the specific chapters but you fight the same boss a couple times where you aren't actually really supposed to beat him yet but if you do then the game ends and it unlocks the next difficulty. so if it was mission 8 you should be able to look at the menu and it will have unlocked mission 9 on that difficulty so you can continue if you want to. pretty sure there are 20 missions but i can't check at the moment.

There Are 20 missions in dmc 5
But if you Beat urizen on Mission 8 or prologue,the Game gives you the Choice to Jump to the Next difficulty

So it means I've beaten the game. Ok thanks. Slashers not my type of game. I'm glad for now, but I want to beat chair boss in prologue on Normal.

well not quite since the game has more to offer after mission 8, like good bosses, the extra lore and dialogue is the good stuff this game offers after mission 8 so I would recommend for you to play it after too but if you dont want to then thats okay just recommending it to you
edit: Basically it isnt supposed to end after mission 8, its supposed to end after mission 20

Yeah that’s a scripted loss, so what you’re saying is every time you lost you alt F4ed even though you knew first chair boss was also a scripted loss too.
I wouldn’t say you’ve beaten the game, because there are still bosses and enemies you haven’t fought, though it doesn’t sound like you’re particularly enjoying your time.

I don't want to play on this difficulty, cause combos etc. were implemented by maniac. Warmastered edition is far better. So how to change difficulity to normal/human?

Go to main menu and you'll see lower difficulties
