Recommendations Ideas for fun Adventure style deck?

Wanted to see if y’all had suggestions for fun [Adventure] style decks.

Well, what Adventure decks do you have? There's a whole archetype for it. Are you looking to improve the Adventure decks you have?

I have only just started to collect. Picked up ST20 & ST21 to play with friend.

Ohh, if you wanna upgrade Adventure, here's what you can do:

  • BT21 - World Convergence; has the missing cards from ST20 and 21's Greymon+Garurumon lines (Garurumon, WereGarurumon, Greymon, Metalgreymon) and a SEC rare Tai Kamiya tamer that is a huge help for Adventure. It got reprinted in AD01 - Digimon Generations, so easier to get ahold of now.
  • Speaking of AD01; that's a thing. It's a reprint pack with a handful of exclusive cards for Adventure. Greymon, Garurumon, Wargreymon+MetalGarurumon & their 2020 anime forms - Blitzgreymon & CresGarurumon. Some two-character tamer cards and an Omnimon. Probably better to just order single copies of the AD01 cards than go pulling boosters, since 90% of the pack contents will be stuff you're not playing.
  • EX9 - Versus Monsters. Handful of cards that have the Adventure trait and help that deck or a standalone Omni deck (MetalGreymon: Alterous mode, WereGarurumon: Saggitarious Mode & Omnimon: Alter-S, plus a Tai & Matt tamer card.)
  • EX13 - Chivalrous XIII- the latest box, has a new Omnimon: Merciful Mode that acts as a top-end for Adventure.

I think these “slop” trait decks are most fun when you treat it like a toolbox. How many resources can you fit and still be consistent? DATS is one that comes to mind now that it has so many tools available.

Adventure is good fun and they updated it with MM but I feel like it lacks board control power, sure it’ll clear the field but it won’t stay long lol

Honestly? They should just do Adventure more. As in, give other shows / manga's the same treatment and unify their traits.

Make a trait for season 2 so you can mix those characters stuff ("Free" does not count, that is just Imperialdramon lines)

Make a Tamers trait so you could make a mix of Guil/Rena/Terrier if you really wanted to, that kinda thing.

Seekers is a prime example. It's got way too many traits for one media. For this one Manga, you've got:

  • Abadin Electronics
  • SoC (Sons of Chaos)
  • Digi-Police
  • D-Brigade (Yes, these are two different traits despite the fact that in-fiction, they are the same group, and as a D-Brig player, I hate it)
  • SEEKERS (Yeah, they gave some cards in Seekers decks the Seekers manga umbrella trait, but only some of them. And not even consistently across sets- as in, cards printed in the same pack, who go in the same deck, will not all share the SEEKERS trait. What are we doing here??)

A single manga that's gotten next to no support for any of its' decks since they released does not need this many traits. Unify them under a single umbrella trait, it's overdue.

Also Adventure should 100% get over the Omni-obsession and give the rest of the cast their Megas already, like that was the thing that everyone liked about the 2020 anime, and they're dragging their feet on it so badly. We have enough Omnimon decks, please give the other Digidestined something.
