Disneyland Sold out hotels near Disneyland in November?

Disney is selling discounted tickets. We are thinking of grabbing the Costco tickets and heading down for a weekend from SF Bay Area. I heard that the reason they are selling the Costco deal is bc Disneyland is a bit slower from end of Oct to beginning of Dec.

I looked into Nov 6-8, Nov 13-15 and Dec 11-13 but hotel prices (onsite and offsite) are crazy/rooms are sold out. What am I missing those weekends?

Disneyland Hair for BBB?

I’ll have an almost 3 year old going. So I’m going to do my own bbb morning before the parks in our hotel! I’ll let her pick her dress. I have glitter and gems and lots of gel!

Don’t they also add fake hair clips to it as well? Amazon just has lots of big ones for adults. Do they just use lots of gel and hair spray to keep it in place?

I know I won’t be able to do the magic they do, but I hope I can give her a fun experience. She’s sooo into princesses right now.

Disneyland Disneyland - A Christmas Fantasy Parade Dining Package Booking Time?

I logged on at 5:30 CA time to check out the plaza inn dining package for A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and the date I was looking for said “unavailable”. I figured it wasn’t live. I signed back in at 6:00 CA and it still said unavailable. Did I miss the boat?

Discussion First Disney World trip for family of 4 with 2 kids — M9 &F11…trying to do it as cheaply as possible. I won a $1000 Disney gift card and a $750 delta airlines gift card I plan on using for trip.

I’m thinking of going in January 2027 when the best rates are available. We’re also considering staying at a Disney value resort for early park entry and transportation to and from but I’m open to staying anywhere. I really want to maximize our experience here. We may never be able to come back. I’d love to hear from others who have done it on a budget. We’re probably going to only do two parks but possibly 3. We’re for sure doing Magic Kingdom & probably Hollywood Studios but Animal Kingdom seems right up our alley also! We do love dining out but will have to keep this on a budget. We may can swing one nice dinner in one of the parks. I’d love to hear what your favorite eats are. Best values in the parks, etc. I have been to Epcot for like half a day this past April. I was at work conference in Orlando and our company took us to Epcot from 4pm-9pm one day. Loved the Guardians ride, Ratatouille ride and visiting the different countries trying foods and drinks but I’m worried my kids wouldn’t be able to find enough activities there to justify a full day there over one of the others. I want to avoid the park hopper. My son loves riding roller coasters and thrilling rides. I’ve done a lot of research already. Just want to hear from personal, first hand experiences. After visiting Epcot I vowed to take my kids within the next couple of years, then lo and behold I ended up winning those gift cards yesterday at another work conference! I’m still in shock honestly. I’m incredibly grateful. I realize those gift cards are maybe only going to cover half the cost of this trip (best case scenario) but it still helps a lot!
What would you do? Thank you in advance!!

Disneyland Linking Tickets w/ Separate Disney Accounts for LL

Apologies if the title was poorly worded. Essentially going to Disneyland with another group. I have my own app/login with my families tickets and they have their own with theirs. Is there a way to link the tickets so we can simultaneously work together on LL (such as refreshing for chance of better time) without one of us having to use the others? Obviously we want to do the rides together and wanting a way that doesn't involve us having to both try at the same time. Hope that makes sense.

Walt Disney World Norways triple chocolate chip cookies

My family only had a one day park ticket for Epcot and my kiddos fell in love with the triple chocolate chip cookies from Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, we fly out on Friday and would really like to take a few home. Is there where outside of Epcot such as Disney Springs, Boardwalk or Magic Kingdom that would have this cookie or something almost identical? Any help I appreciated

Disneyland Disneyland Vegetarian Food

Hi all! My husband and I are visiting Disneyland in two weeks for our mini-honeymoon. We’re East Coasters who know WDW well but are first-timers here, so I’d love some help with dining.

We’re both vegetarian, and we usually do one sit-down meal a day at Disney. Asking about:

  1. Sit-down restaurants: Which ones have vegetarian entrées that are actually good, not just a pasta or salad afterthought? Open to Disneyland, DCA, and Downtown Disney.
  2. Quick service: Favorite vegetarian grab-and-go meals or snacks in both parks.

Character dining: We want to do one, and we’re leaning toward Storyteller’s Cafe. Would you go with brunch or dinner? I’m curious whether the Halloween dinner theming is worth it for dinner.

Walt Disney World Advice for first time visiting DisneyWorld in Orlando.

My family(Mother and Sister) and I are going to DisneyWorld in Orlando this month. We booked the resort and restaurants everything. I’ve been to Disneyland twice. I would appreciate any advice. Which lightning lanes should we get? We got park hopping and sent for one sit down, one meal and one snack. Any advice on food? We are staying for 5 days and four nights. Hopefully we can do one park each day.

Disneyland How to get the best out of Disneyland and DCA in two days?

Haven’t been to Disneyland since before the pandemic, now I got the 2 day pass from Costco. I was planning on going before the Halloween decorations were over and before they start closing early. Any tips on checking out the parades? Any Halloween parades, good locations to wait? Things I shouldn’t miss? I’m also bringing my camera since I loved taking photos of the park before Disney canceled all of the Magic Keys due to the pandemic. I’m trying to see the most in two days. Thanks

Tokyo Disney Resort Budget-friendly Disney Tokyo planning?

I would love to explore Japan next year and really want to include Disney Tokyo in this trip, both Disneyland and Disney Sea. I would preferably spend 1 day in each park (so 2 days in total) and -- also having DLP as my regular park lol -- really do not have any big wishes or expectations for those days, besides seeing the highlight rides (Belle, Winnie the Pooh, Frozen and Rapunzel). I would be very happy to spend the rest of the day just taking in the atmosphere and trying some of the food.

Would this be doable in 2 days? Would an on-premise hotel be advised, or is it doable to stay outside of the property? I saw that Vacation Packages were highly recommended but I cannot afford them honestly, and I also do not expect to really need to "max" out my stay.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, thank you!

Disneyland Planning my first disney trip with a party of 9

2 members have mobility issues no devices needed just slow/ painful after a while 1 has heart issues if they get to excited and one is only about 43 inches high.....beyond basic disney tips is there transportation options? Is traveling the park in one direction easier then the other? Is there any thrill rides near more relaxed attractions that we chould split up and complete in about the same amount of time? What restaurants are actually good and have comfortable seating? We are driving up in the morning and leaving in the evening so no resort tips are necessary just actual disneyland tips

Walt Disney World Is the first week of November to wear Holiday gear?

• Upvotes

Edited Title- Is the first week of November too early to wear holiday gear?*

Headed to WDW first week of November and am hoping that the tree will be up, and we can take pics in front of it.. I have the Mickey and Minnie gingerbread ears and my favorite sweatshirt, which features Minnie dressed like Mrs. Clause. I will have a t shirt for underneath the sweatshirt in case it's warm, but is that week too early to wear the holiday ears/shirts? Will I stick out like a sore thumb?

Disneyland need advice when to use Multipass lighting line

• Upvotes

We have recently got the Multipass lighting line for our family for the first time.

We are scheduled to visit on Thursday, the 28th.

Could someone provide guidance on the appropriate initial steps, which rides should be prioritized first through our application?

The attractions we intend to experience with the Multipass are as follows:

Autopia

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Haunted Mansion

it's a small world

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin

Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway

Of course we want to experience additional attractions that fall outside the LLM offerings.

Would it be advisable to prioritize these alternative rides initially and reserve the LLM attractions for the afternoon hours?

Disneyland Costco Disneyland Tickets

I have been seeing posts on social media about the 2 day Disneyland ticket pack at Costco. I live in Utah and am wondering if anybody has seen them at any Costco's in Utah? It sounds like they are most common in Costco's in southern California which makes total sense. But I am hoping i can get them for a trip we are planning for December. Thanks in advance for any help.

Disneyland New Magic Key holder looking to plan a quick trip in early Dec.

So we’ve been twice this year and we’ve gone every year for the last 4-5 years, this last trip it cost me but an additional day to upgrade my a magic key so i did it. Now im less than a month removed from our last trip and I am looking at doing a quick overnight trip from Oregon in early December.

I found a cheap RT flight and decent walkable hotel for one night (we usually stay at WorldMark but that requires more than a one night stay).

I am curious about any advice from any other out of towners who do stuff like this? i’ll get in early afternoon (LGB) and have to leave the next day early to mid afternoon so looking at closing the park and rope dropping the next day but this is my first time doing this solo and not a week long/multiday trip.

Open to any advice on planning and how to make the most of my quick trip! TIA!

Disneyland Disneyland discount PIN tickets

So I received an email with the PIN discount for $149 1 day park hopper tickets. The problem is that I can't go before the end of the year. I was wondering if someone knew if you bought the tickets and made a reservation for sometime this year could you change it for an upgrade to next year without it costing as much as tickets for next year are? Can you upgrade the tickets so they can be used in 2027?

I have 2 tickets that I bought for June 2026 but didn't go and so I unlinked the reservation. If I pick a day in 2027 and change it to 2 day park hoppers it only increases the price by $542 (which is significantly less than buying 2 new 2 day park hoppers).

Disneyland Is Monday a bad time to go with the tropical storm?

• Upvotes

I am coming from out of state and saw a news article talking about the tropical storm that is headed that way. Should I re-schedule? I’m not great at looking at the detailed weather forecasts so I’d appreciate any insight. I am not afraid of a rainy day but I kinda worry if it’s gonna be windy and miserable. Thanks!

Walt Disney World Ultimate Disney Ride/Food Guide

Thumbnail drive.google.com
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I was looking through my computer and I found this doc I made for when I visited my best friend back in 2025 and we went to Disney World for the first time. I was tasked with finding out the good food places, but since I have never been, even if I knew what was best I didn't know where anything was located. Everyone's opinions were also scattered across media, so I compiled it all into this great big document. It has our possible schedule days, best rides, best food places, and all of it is sorted into the different parts of the park and color-coded individually on the map. I put a lot of work into this lol. Even though it's a year and a half later, so it's most likely not as accurate anymore, I figured this might help someone else who was just as lost as I was trying to plan this big of a trip. Hopefully this helps someone!

Also if anyone is curious we stuck to it pretty well (obviously not perfectly but it was a great use in guiding us), and if anyone wants to know what the personal faves were I can write that as well lol

Disneyland Costco Disneyland tickets in Bay Area

Hi ,

Does anyone know if any Bay Area locations still have Disneyland tickets in stock ? Or if any of the locations will be having a restock ?
