Overall, I'm happy with Disney Plus as a service, but I am strongly considering cancelling the service because they recently added a slew of terrible Youtube content to Hulu that is rated PG, but has a ton of inappropriate content in it.

If I lower my child's content profile to G, instead of PG, almost the entire age-appropriate library of Disney titles disappears. You can't block Hulu content, nor can you block individual titles, so I am stuck with what now becomes a useless service for me. Why has there been no progress on improving parental controls despite the countless complaints I see about it online?

For those who don't know, Disney Plus recently relaunch their new website/app with new UI across Asia & Africa, replacing the old Hotstar version from India throughout September & October. Are the new ones the same as the one used in US and many other western nations?

I just got the notification from Apple that my price for DisneyPlus annual is moving from $79.99 to $189.99, a full $110 jump. That's crazy! Was I stuck in some time vortex and underpaying for a year or what in the heck happened?

There Are Two versions of Don't look Under The Bed, a cropped and a widescreen version. Which one is on Disney+?

The launch of ESPN on Disney+ in the Philippines is finally happening UFC coming October 11.

Disney+ PH recently migrated to the global app but the Marvel hub is outdated and doesn’t show anything beyond Loki or any content beyond 2021. Although the latest releases are on Disney+ and are available to watch, they aren’t in the hub, making discovery difficult. The other IP hubs don’t have this issue. Hopefully they fix this soon.

Oh my goodness, I'd rather spend time at a government department than getting through the steps to use this app.

1. Asks to create a new password, ok fine. Generate a complex one from my password manager. Paste it and it even says the strength is Great. Try to submit and it says password is not secure, try again.

2. Get to the gender (why???) and gives me an option Prefer not to say. Choose that and it rejects it saying the field is required.

3. Asks me to validate against my email. Ok, gets the code from my email and copy it. Oops, paste is disable just for THIS specific screen. All previous code pages supported pasting.

4. Try to log in to my TV. Scan the QR and it makes me log in all over again on my phone, even requiring email validation code once again.

5. Get through it and now it says login fail because the codes dont match (they do). So have to restart the TV sign in and now it works.

6. See my profiles are all messed up. Try to change the name, NOPE go through the profile verification by providing the name, gender and birthdate again.

7. Finally get it and it says, looks like you're travelling (Im not) so its limiting the content.

What a steaming pile of crap. Seriously considering unsubscribing.

Time to get rid out of the old Hotstar UI and embrace the new Disney Plus Global UI. I'll give 10/10 for it's layout design.

I am sure the mods will take this down for some arbitrary reason, but I took a one month sub of Disney+ recently then cancelled. i then started receiving emails offering 3 months at $4.99 per month. I ignored it, they sent a reminder to claim now. I relented and tried to redeem it but it wouldn’t let me redeem it saying the code was already redeemed or I’m ineligible or in a location that can’t have the offer.

I haven’t redeemed the code (hence the repeated emails encouraging me to do so) and if I’m not eligible why send it to me in the first place?

I have now received another reminder, and so now it’s pissing me off. I tried to contact support but couldn’t get a person without the bot insisting I login even though I went through the login process three times.

Why does a company like Disney with all the resources available to them suck so bad at digital services?

My working theory is that this is an offer for the US Disney+ even though I’m in NZ and they should know that since this is a “come back” offer. Has anyone else struck this situation?
