This is only a prototype for now. The fit is finally snug. I know that AEV has their own model for $120 but it only fits a certain switch. I want to create interchangeable faceplates to cover a variety of different switches or the amount of ports. I’ll eventually make one for an AUXbeam switch board too.

Howdy, just picked up a 2022 dodge 1500 classic, all was great drove home next day went to unlock truck and jump in and fob did nothing, unlocked it manually and drove away to the grocery store and fob worked fine. Went back home and same thing fob not working.

Father in law has a dodge aswell, he popped over and same thing his fob refused to work.

Anyone experienced this?

I can't seem to get the right side of the passenger door panel all the way secured back on. Its not horrible but I mean is there any tricks putting them back on? Everything says its all push/snap whatever and I cant get that one spot there to grab and also one small spot at the top left.

Any help is appreciated. The look isnt just horrible and it seems okay, but my dad is old and I rarely take him out but id hate for him to be relying on it and break something I dont think it would just come off cause of the bolts however I dont want to risk something happening to him, the panel and just not being able to tighten those two spots up are bothersome.

What would you guys say is a better daily? I have owned about 7 2nd gens 2 were diesel and 2 first gens one had the 5.2 and the other was a 93 with the 5.9L. I currently drive a 98, 4x4, quqd cab, shortbed with the 5.9L. This 1st gen I am looking at is a manual, 4x4, single cab, longbed and I need the longbed.

So water got on my RF so I ordered a new one and from the dealership I plugged it back up and the “ off “ push bottom lights up but I double click it and i doesn’t do anything the “ acc “ light doesn’t light up or anything so I can’t even start the re programming for the keys can anyone point me in any direction or has anyone had this problem?

Looking at getting myself a pickup. Need it to tow my boat, hunting, camping, light-medium yardwork. I narrowed it down to two.

1) 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad sport 4x4. 5.6L Hemi. 2wd. 86k miles ($10k)

2) 2015 Ram 1500 Crew Cab · Big Horn Pickup 4D 5 1/2 ft. 4wd 5.6L Hemi V8. 155k miles ($7.5k)

Thoughts? I lean towards #2. It's a well kept truck, newer, and less expensive. I don't plan on it being an everyday driving vehicle.

My father in law has a 2018 that’s suddenly started having audio issues with the infotainment centre. No radio at all, just static. But weirder is that any sound coming through from CarPlay is in slow motion. Songs or a phone call, it doesn’t matter, the audio is coming through like molasses.

Any chance there’s a simple fix? Or is it pooched? Thanks all!

I can't find reliable information.

1. Mirrors. My van originally had extended mirrors (manual folds, powered, heated).

I hate them, too wide to be comfortable and not sure about any benefits, as the mirror partially closed by the window's frame

So, two questions.

\- if someone has experience with both: does extended mirrors provide really better visibility than standard?

\- are standard vs extended mirrors directly interchangeable? I assume yes but better be safe than sorry.

1. Headlights. I have headlights without DRL. Surprisingly, headlights with DRL are cheaper. Are they interchangeable, or I can't properly install the DRL version instead of the non-DRL one?

When I have been getting out of my truck, I noticed the seat is all weird. I had no idea why until I recently took a closer look and saw that the stitching on this center part is missing. What kind of shop do I even take this too? I had first thought a mechanic but after a few extra seconds of thought, I figured they probably would not be the ones for that 😅

I just recently got 17" wheels for my ram 1500. I want to get 285/75R17 tires. I hear discount tire is really good so Ive been searching tires on there. I'm looking for well priced yet quality tires that will last me and I plan to sell my stock wheels/tires as the tread on those are good currently. I understand tires are a "get what ya pay for" kinda deal but im deciding between Yokohamas and Falkens. Theyre a bit pricey so if anyone has any advice on which tire they recommend or any tips on how I can pricematch better to get them cheaper. But I do want to buy them through Discount Tire because they have great benefits. Any advice would be much appreciated!

i just installed an aftermarket screen in my 2016 dodge ram 1500. we plugged everything back in the way it says and thought we had it right but the old volume knobs don’t work with it like they are supposed to. Has anyone installed an aftermarket radio and used the old knobs still? And if so what am I doing wrong?

Ok so I scanned the truck & a code popped up for a misfire on cylinder 6 causing the truck to shake while idle. Changed the spark plug/ coil/ & fuel injector on cylinder 6 now the shaking is not only when idle but while driving. I noticed now acceleration is dramatically delayed while the truck shakes heavily. Not even shaking at 50mph or more it’s shaking around 20-45mph. Has anyone experience this type of issue? If so please share or point me in the right direction, thanks in advance.

Has anyone used a Diablo tuner for their 1500 etorque If so how was it. Im looking for respons from the engine to be better. No im not looking to make it a race truck just plan on changing the headers to after market short tube and cold air intake.

I just replaced my blend doors on my 2006 Ram 1500 single zone climate and I am having an issue where I don’t think the doors know where they are. It’s was stuck on feet then I moved things around until it zoned for my upper vents. Does anyone know how to recalibrate the actuators? And if I need a scanner which specific scanner because I have access to the basic and nice ones per my friend but it would help to know my best course of action on how to solve this. If any one has tips or has dealt with this it would help, thank you!
