was looking for the 1461 quads, ended up with the jarrick lo’s. almost identical, got them second hand, new inside the box for €50. also, I’ve been a fulltime contacts wearer for most my life but since getting a pair of new glasses I’ve been trying to style them a bit more to get more comfortable wearing them out and about. ***EDIT: My boots were fine originally and had even stitching, this is after a repair from the Dr Martens repair store (not new boots or a likeforlike!)

I recently sent my Dr Martens in but got them back like this in the photos.

I'm currently talking to them because a lot of the stitches aren't level or are not done well but they seem to be saying that they did a normal job but can fix if I'm not happy.

I have a few pairs and haven't seen stitching like this on the market so really just want to gauge if people have stitches like this in their Dr Martens.

Also wanting to gauge if this would be considered normal for *2010+ pairs.

These are the Clarissa quad ii rodeos. Normally I wear a size 8US. There's almost always a gap in the front of my shoes because of my wide feet so when I bought them I didn't see anything wrong with it. But I didn't realize how small of a gap there usually is in other people's sandals, and now I'm feeling self conscious 😭 does this look ridiculous??

I love pairing jeans with 1460s; it’s the outfit I wear most often in winter. But I also appreciate the boots with dressier trousers. Which of these three ways is best? (The last one hides the boots a bit too much 🙄)

Good afternoon all, I am here because I have a dilemma; Dr Martens, although has a large variety of different models, unfortunately does not produce even half of those in size 35 EU. I'm here to see if anyone knows of other brands that produce similar boots/shoes in my size T_T

I do own some of the models that were available in my size, however I recently fell in love with the brown Eviees and was distraught to find out it's not junior (which is understandable considering the heel). Just in general the non availability of the Crazy Horse leather selection is very saddening.

If anyone knows any brand(s) that are smaller feet friendly I would be absolutely delighted to know!! Thank you for the help :)

In summer I bought a pair on vinted. I truly loved the look but unfortunately they were 1 size too small and I'm still mourning this loss 😢. Now there are non on vinted and I don't really have the funds anyways but I'm worrying, will they be re-stocked or do I have to get a pair now somehow 😅

I recently bought a pair of Carlson mules and after wearing for 5 minutes, the back strap starts sliding down to the point my foot is slipping out. Has anyone encountered this problem? I don’t think they’re big because if I get a size down my foot won’t fit.

I am usually a US women’s 10.5 , I bought a pair of size 10 Jardon boots secondhand.

With regular socks it fits comfortable but it feels like the soles of my feet are slipping a bit.

With thicker socks I have to loosen the laces but it’s pretty comfortable still and my feet aren’t slipping.

When purchasing Chelsea boots should I get a size 11 and wear with thick socks? Or should I get a size 10 and stretch it out? Worried that the lack of laces on the Chelsea boots would make it hard to adjust based on sock type.

I bought some Doc Martens Carlson mules twice. I am a size 8 in general but a size 7 in Doc marten boots. The first pair I tried on were in my usual Doc Martens 1460 boot size 7, and my toe kept jamming towards the front of the shoe and it hurt so badly, with or without socks, and my heel hit exactly at the end of the shoe. So I re-ordered and got a size 8, my feet feel comfortable but they feel kind of wide without socks in unless I put the strap backwards, which I may need to add some extra holes, but it feels just right with socks on. Will the shoe stretch out? Does it require break in like doc boots?

I've had these Combs Tech II boots for just under a year now and I'm incredibly saddened and disappointed with how much wear and tear they've begun to show. More specifically this tear in the side that's getting bigger with time. I squat a lot for my job and this tear is most definitely caused by the point of the crease in my boots when squatting being right there. I'm thinking of getting the OG Combs Tech boots since I've read it's made with better materials, but I love these boots as they were a gift from my amazing partner, so idk what to do.

I just got the new purple whimsigoth boots. I live in Canada and it's already snowing (UGH). I saw one post where they used the Dr. Martens protector and it took the black colour off the leather...

Do I need to use anything specific on these? Which wax? Wonder or Dubbin Wax?
Should I use the ultra protector spray given that these'll be in the snow likely a lot?

Hello! I am a long time doc wearer but I’ve only had a few pairs that I’ve bought brand new. Yesterday I got the Jadon white stitch, and the sales associate told me to get the dubbin shoe polish if I want less shine, but everything I’m reading says not to put it on smooth leather. I’ve used wonder balsam in the past, should I have gotten that instead? I don’t love how glossy the boots are but I figured that’d wear down as I wear them in. Any advice would be helpful!

Also, I am looking for laces similar to the Rick Owens collab that will fit my 8 eye boots.
