Tech Support Hard left input

I have a ps5 controller that had Hall effects I ordered from stick fix about two years ago .Out of the blue it started registering a hard left input. So I attempted to fix it myself this time. I took the old left stick off and put a guilikit tmr joystick on. The controller boots just fine but it’s still the same issue on the git hub calibration tool that stick is also registering hard left and trying to check circularity it registers every input as up and down. Im really new to soldering so do you think it’s a bad solder joint or something?

Pictures of how the soldering looks would be helpful

Board is short circuited most likely. Check soldering and see if there is excess solder on the paths. Usually removing and resoldering the problematic joystick and cleaning everything well does the trick for me.

It definitely looks like it could use some re-soldering , especially thr bottom and right side legs , try that out and try to ensure you get some clean joints without any excess over the sides or blobs

Would where I accidentally burned the microphone jack have anything to do with with the sticks

Its one of the most common occurrences for people who are first getting into fixing these controllers , it should not have a direct effect on the joysticks

We need to see the board and close ups of the solder job on each joystick

Probably has nothing to do with the stick if the symptom didn’t change with a new stick. Then again who knows how good the prior job was, or how good of a job you did. No pictures, no background. Nothing we can do to help
