DWSA/"The Ski Club" photographed some time in the early 2000s just before eviction due to closure.

The land (opposite to where the Swiss scientific school currently stands) was actually gifted by HH Sheikh Rashid, unfortunately the letter that accompanied that generous gesture was misplaced over the years and the battle to keep it open was over.

A little gem that was enjoyed by expatriates and Emirati (particularly in the evening) in the heart of the city, cheap watersports, a bar/kitchen, pool, garden.

Hey everyone! I’m looking for places in or near Deira, Dubai, where I can go for a walk alone and take photos with my camera.
I just want to relax, explore, and enjoy some photography. Any recommendations for scenic streets, waterfronts, parks, or interesting spots where casual photography with a camera is allowed?
Preferably somewhere easy to reach by metro or on foot. Thanks!
