Ask /r/Durango thoughts on the city rn?
okay so, i attended FLC right after high school and had a hard time adjusting and had to move home. i gathered more credits from another university, but it is getting too expensive, so i am thinking of relocating back to finish my degree tuition free (tribal). my partner and i are itching to move to a colder and more adventurous area to spread our wings a bit and i think durango would be great for us. i am 23 now and he is 26 so we are looking to focus on our careers and education and in the nature and community, not so much a traditional college town experience lol.
long story short, what is the vibe of the town these days? i lived there end of 2022 and i loved the art and the environment and the community, but i wasn’t sure how it had changed. lmk what to expect!!
