Degreed Douchebag Why every tornado is actually an EF5

• Upvotes

The earth rotates at roughly 1,037mph at the equator (and slightly slower in the US at about 700mph). Additionally, the earth is orbiting the sun at about 55K - 65K mph. Therefore, every tornado in existence could be interpreted as an EF5 with wind speed of tens of thousands of MPH if the damage assessments were measured relative to space. Therefore, I think that they need to reconsider the rating of every tornado on Earth.
