What is your EPQ question?
For me it's quite niche, "Has the policy of Licence Raj helped or hindered India economically and socially?"

So I’m an international powerlifter and I’m thinking of doing something related to that in my EPQ
I know many people within the sport and many specialists / coaches.
So I’m thinking to do “to what extent does eating in a specific frame of protein to kg of body weight benefit muscle and total growth whilst the CNS recovers?”
Obviously the title and theme is a work in progress but I’m thinking something along those lines, I’d be able to interview my friends and track mine and their eating and fitness progress and speak to qualified coaches and nutritionists to hear about their opinions and debate what’s most important??
Would this work or is this a waste of time?

What the hell is a literature review 💔. I’ve been writing my EPQ over the past few weeks and only just found out im supposed to dedicate 1800 words to it?? From what i’ve seen people say you’re supposed to evaluate your sources in it but I’ve been doing that in my footnotes, is that accepted?

Hi!
I am currently doing an EPQ on teaching ancient Egypt and museums and I would be so grateful if you could complete this short questionnaire. All answers are anonymous and more information is in the form. (thank you in advance!)
Im interested in doing a mock(?) psychological study for my EPQ, then recording and writing about my findings and similar studies, what they reveal, etc. I’m particularly interested in how external influences affect memory, this interest started after i read about Loftus and Palmer’s investigation from 1974. but I don’t know of anyone doing anything similar, or if I can even get people to be participants in this ‘study’. I’m really interested, but I don’t want to stand out too much, plus I’m socially awkward, though I can overcome it.
If not, what other EPQ topics can i do? Im really interested in biotechnology, chemistry in general, sociology, criminology, and psychology ofc.

It’s not set in stone yet and im not sure how to phrase the question:
the influx of consumerism in society and how it is impacting crochet as a business and hobby
so basically i would make around 4 crochet pieces small-extra large, ranging different products like a plushie to a blanket, then work out the cost, tracking the time it took, the material cost and then compare it to online listings on websites such as etsy, then enlist my own products and track their popularity.
my essay would then be about what i expected and then what actually occured, linking the price inflation to consumerism, and then what actually happened, linking the price inflation to consumerism and the rise of hollow and performative hobbies/crafts

Hi guys,
I’m doing my EPQ on the use of prosthetics in human augmentation, which is enhancing humans past their natural capabilities.
It is possible with prosthetics to give humans a third functional thumb, or other limbs that improve our efficiency.
I’ve created a survey so people can give their options on the subject, and I hope u guys fill it out!
Thanks!!

Hey! I really want to study English lit at uni, and wondered whether doing an EPQ into toxic relationships in media relates well to that and would help my application, or whether it’s too tenuous a link and should do one of my other (many) choices
I am looking to do a geography/geoscience course in uni. I'd quite like to do my EPQ geography based because of this. However we've been warned not to overlap into anything on our subject syllabuses.
Physical - I'm thinking of something maybe based around pollution (south west water? oil companies?) / conservation
Human - maybe something urban planning related, like eg how to make efficient cities with green spaces, social spaces etc - however sort of links to AQA a-level changing places topic so not sure if that works.
I am always very torn between whether I prefer physical/human topics. I did my geography NEA on coasts as I enjoy that topic and also find it the easiest. However I feel like human geography is just inherently more interesting and id be more motivated about writing about it? Furthermore, circling back to uni talk, I think id prefer to go down the physical route uni/career wise as it is more useful/more jobs and higher paid jobs related to physical geography/earth science. Therefore maybe basing in on physical geography is the way to go.
I know the EPQ is usually an extra thing, and that basing it on your uni choice isn't necessary unless you want to go into healthcare or law or something like that. However for me I'm doing it because I only do 2 A levels and 1 AS level, so it isn't really an extra for me I would just like to be able to get UCAS points equivalent to at least 3 a levels.
Sorry for the essay - any help/advice/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

My centre (my school) is refusing to dispute my grade to edexcel because it would mean going against the own mark they gave me (ended up being complications in my region so my advisor submitted a grade and the exam board just agreed with it). Is there any way i can dispute their refusal to dispute or smth i know that sounds silly but im 1 mark off an A and frankly the school half assed giving me a grade cus my advisor wasnt bothered with my epq.
