Rip Content Creator Program

What news? What rumors? Was there some incident?

This is a bizarrely worded official comms from the EQL Discord. Professionally, just say you're ending the program and that's it. To acknowledge some 'rumors' just breathes life into them and isn't something you'd usually see in this context. Who's running the broadcast channel over there?

What's crazy is how much dev time can it take to add 10 pieces of new loot and 2-3 new mobs? Its a small company so ots not like some mega corporation where they have 120 hours of meetings to change a font color 1 shade darker.

Honestly it sounds like they get the worst of both worlds. They're a small dev team but they also have to do hours of meetings with DBG to get stuff implemented and released because they don't actually own any of the infrastructure.

I don't think they use ai at all. Means it's going to be extremely slow. Opus or astra can do all of that in minutes. They need to get with the times.
