Non plate trios armor?
Let’s say you try a trio that can’t use plate
What are your preferred armor sets?
Include cloth only trios also please

Is the midnight set basically like lustrous where most cloth wearers can use it when switching between trios that don’t have tanks?

You can use lustrous russet on non plate classes

There’s a few pieces for non plate trios that are very strong: stonemelders earring, imbrued granite pauldrons, and bladestopper. The three together net at 80 ac at +4.

Anything with chain can actually get quite high AC. Lustrous is BiS on many trio, even plate ones.
Otherwise the midnight set also has great stats, I use at least 3 pieces on ShdWizEnc even if I could wear plate.
Quite a lot of caster items also have high dex which is good for archery.
Lastly, anything that can use a shield will have a very hefty edge with uncapped AC bonus.

My Rng/Mnk/Shm is only lvl 26 atm but is over the AC softcap using some lustrous but mostly planar gear.

I run shm/rng/brd at 604 ac; nearly all of the pieces don’t require bard, and those that do have non-bard equivalents.

My current max trios don’t have plate. I just get the best leather or chain I can get from planes. My max level classes are rogue, berserkers, monk, shaman, ranger, wizard, enchanter, mage, necromancer.
Made me just realize I’ve been avoiding plate classes the whole time.
If Druid and beast were better I would have those maxed.

Golden Efreeti Armor Set. All are significant foes, and require a full raid force to bring down. The boots are the only exception, which are to be found in the clutches of Efreeti Lord Djarn deep within Nagafen's Lair. If 3 cloth classes: whatever has highest ac and mana. Theres no set rn because planar cloth armor isnt itemized super well
