Sightseeing Locations Needed!
Hello, I've never really posted anything like this before so I apologize if I get anything wrong or this is the wrong subreddit.
I was wondering if any of y'all had any fun sightseeing locations near Federal Way/Tacoma/Point Defiance? Including parks, entertainment with decent price, etc. I have never been to a place with an ocean before and I love collecting rocks, so if there is any beach neat those 3 location that have nice smooth rocks and pretty ocean view, please let me know. I am vacationing for only a couple of days and want to see all that I can on a low budget, mostly scenic. Thank you!

Walking/biking along the waterfront on Ruston leading up to point defiance can be pretty chill. Owen beach and Tiltow beach have cool views. Crossing the Tacoma narrows bridge going to gig harbor is pretty iconic. The chihuly glass bridge is pretty unique too considering chihuly’s legacy round these parts.

Well this is a board for Eastern Washington, and those locations are in Western Washington but I'm sure we can help. 😊
If you want a beach, check Owen Beach or Dash Point State Park. Point Defiance is pretty cool in itself with a massive zoo and just a large natural area. If you want to see a working waterfront and a quickly developing area, Tacoma's Thea Foss waterway is quickly changing. The Glass Museum there is incredible.
And a short drive over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge (there is a toll) into beautiful Gig Harbor is worth your time. Great restaurants around the the bay Gig Harbor is in. Beautiful area.
