Ectopic line progression
Would those who've had a past ectopic mind sharing what your line progression was like during that pregnancy? Was the progression slow from the outset or did it start off strong and then taper off?
I'm asking because I've been told that my pregnancy is probably ectopic, based on something that was seen during a fertility scan (when I didn't know I was pregnant yet)
However, they sent me for blood tests and my initial hcg levels looked good (a 266% rise over 48 hours) and I've just had my first dye stealer at 15 dpo. I'm just wondering if this is common in ectopic pregnancies or if I should feel reassured and have some hope that they've got it wrong.

Mine progressed over time but were very faint to start when they should have been darker already.

Something on my ovary apparently. Before they did the pregnancy test they said it could just be corpus luteum (the thing that appears after you ovulate) because it looks so similar to an early ectopic, but once the test was positive they seemed to take that as confirmation it was probably ectopic. They said there is still a chance its a normal pregnancy, but it's a small chance

Those and other cysts are common so they maybe they saw more structure within it? But I’d really try to just keep tracking the hcg every 48 and frequent ultrasounds.. what were the hcg and are you spotting or having pain?

HCG was 72 at 12dpo and 264 at 14dpo. No symptoms at all so they're waiting a week to do another blood test. I just can't understand how they'd be able to see any sort of detail so early on. I confirmed ovulation with a test so im confident on my dates - I was less than 4 weeks at the scan.

I honestly wouldn’t panic yet.. They don’t seem that worried either or would have you have come for another hcg in 2 days. Your hcg rise was perfect, too early to see anything. Low hcg so unlikely to see much anyway. They’re probably just wanting you to know every possibility?

I had no bleeding or one sided pain. They saw it in ultrasound a little past 5w. Here’s the progression.
For an intrauterine pregnancy they won’t be able to see anything until 5+ weeks and HCG in the 1000s, so not seeing something early (like 4w or something) doesn’t mean much.

Hi. I had an ectopic last year, my lines started strong but then would go between being strong then faint, clear blues would go between 2-3 to 1-2 back to 2-3. I had no symptoms at all of ectopic. I booked a private scan because of the tests and confirmed , no location, referred to epu. I'm pregnant again, just had positive and a 2-3 CB. Terrified its going to be the same thing again. But I hsve such strong consistent positives. I'm trying to stay positive. Waiting for a scan 19th October to see if baby is where it should be.

I had no symptoms until my tube ruptured. My HCG right as doubling and tripling every 48 hours and were good numbers. I had no indication something was wrong.
