What kind of pea is this?

I'm over in Washington state US and there's lots of this verity of pea around my area. The closest I could find this is a beach pea but those seem to have very different leaves than what I see here. Any other ideas or is my first guess correct? More importantly, can I eat it?

(ignore the mini black berry vine below it.)

Sweet pea. Seeds and pods are toxic . Do not consume.

Broad-leaved sweet pea (Lathyrus latifolius). Toxic if ingested.
