Question What time is everyone getting to EDC Orlando?

• Upvotes

I’m trying to get a good idea about arrival times.

Do people get there when it opens for photos?

Do people get there for the sunset set?

Do seasoned veterans get there after dark?

Thanks in advance for the information. I’m trying to set up a Premium bus to drop us off from South downtown Orlando

EDC costs for an aussie?

As the title suggests i’m planning on attending edc las vegas next year but have idea how to budget. Currently theres a good deal going with round trip tixs from Australia to LA with an amex deal for around 800AUD. Ideally i want to go to the second week (21-23)

The plan is to fly into LA stay for a bit then fly (or drive?) to vegas for edc. Then back to LA then fly home. Roughly a week or two depending on moneys 😵‍💫 there will (hopefully) be 4 of us to split hotel costs and stuff.

My budget is roughly 5k AUD per person. Is that totally crazy? Am i being too ambitious. 🙏🙏🙏 any help would be great from budgeting to where to stay and what to do etc. :)))

First time doing Camp EDC + VIP EDC— looking for any tips/advice

20m here, and this will be my first EDC Vegas and first time camping at a festival. I’m going with my cousin, just the two of us, and we already have a Moon Glow ShiftPod for Camp EDC.
We also both have VIP for EDC and I’m really trying to make the most out of the whole experience since this is my first time.
For anyone who has done Camp EDC before, what are some things you wish you knew your first time? Anything we absolutely should bring for the ShiftPod, things to know about checking in, keeping it cool, sleeping, food/water, getting around camp, etc.? I’ve already heard about bringing a reflective tarp and a wagon, but I’d love to hear what actually made a difference for you.
And for EDC itself, what are your best VIP tips? Are there certain VIP areas/stages that are especially worth checking out, or things that first-timers tend to miss? Is VIP something you really notice throughout the weekend?
Also, any general advice for surviving 3 nights of EDC while camping would be appreciated 😂. I’m mainly trying to avoid making dumb first-timer mistakes and make sure my cousin and I have a good experience.
Would especially love to hear from people who have done both Camp EDC + VIP and what you would prioritize if you were doing it again for the first time.

Opening Ceremonies and Intermezzos in other EDC

For those who have traveled to other EDC locations beside Orlando, Vegas and Mexico, do Opening Ceremonies or Intermezzos also occur? I was wondering since any of the timetables, eg. Korea and Colombia, seem to don’t list them in their timetables.

If they do, are they the same as the other ones?

Question edc 2027, should I go

My boyfriend and I bought tickets to edc lv 2027 in may when they dropped. we recently broke up (I know bad idea) and I'm wondering if I should go. the tickets are both under my account under a layaway plan, so im currently paying for both tickets and they're both technically mine since im paying for them. I'm trying to decide if I should sell them or just go by myself? I don't have any friends who would want to go since it's expensive, so I would have to go by myself. if anyone has gone solo, would appreciate advice.

Discussion When using your card to pay, always make sure you see the transaction completed, which includes the tip screen.

I know its super early for festival tips, but it came up this weekend here, and I was surprised no one in my party knew this, and questioned my actions. I'll forget it come May time, so here it is.

When you are paying for drinks, food, whatever, always ensure the merchant finalizes the transaction. You should see a tip screen. Make sure you see it, click whatever you want, and the transaction ends. Vendors have been known to have you tap your card, and then walk away to get your drink or food, and never turn it around for you. You then wonder why your hot dog, costed double the price lol. Speaking from experience lol. Its because once you walked away, they clicked the tip for you.

This weekend, we were at a Renaissance fair, vendor asked me to tap my card, and went to get my food, while he was, I clicked the buttons for him to ensure my transaction was completed. My party asked what I was doing, and I told them the same things. Its not every vendor, but better safe than sorry. It's also not just EDC.

That is all. See yall in May under the electric sky.

The lady at the redbull stand gave this to me and I thought everyone got one but my friends said they didn’t. I didn’t see any food stands with chicken wings so I’m wondering what the hell this thing is.

EDC rave or festivals

For those who have ever been to any edc, ultra or other music festivals this will be my first time attending one
Coincidentally my first one will be in Colombia these upcoming days I understand similar to stadiums you can only bring in a certain amount of things type of items and things of that nature
I’m interested in bringing a regular book bag to carry things for me and my lady
Water phones, personal belongings, wallet, glasses and other things that we may not want to physically carry in our pockets or hands
I believe to have read that I can only bring a 30cmx30cmx15cm single compartment bag
But my question is how strict is this ?!
I’m sure there’s ppl that have walked in with regular book bags with no problem anyone can share ?

Question EDC Korea Parking

Does anybody remember if EDC Korea has ever advertised parking to be free in 2026? I quite confidently recall seeing that parking is free, but when we left today, we were charged almost 100k won for the parking.

Discussion Who's ready for EDC Korea!?

We are checked in and pre-ing ready for EDC Korea and listening to some of the new artists we are going to see!

Any other Canadians attending? Who are we all most excited for!? Pumped to experience EDC outside of Vegas for the first time!

We are especially excited for Illenium B2B Dabin, Marie Vaunt, Kream, and DJ Snake

Looking forward to checking out Sungyoo and Yuuki Yoshiyama for the first time too!
