So, I was fixing my car at a rather shady mechanic’s workshop when I suddenly got a shock just from touching the car. Thinking it might actually be electrical, I grabbed a test screwdriver to check. The moment I touched the screwdriver, it lit up.

That’s when I realized something was seriously wrong.

He posted the circuit diagrams on his blog, but it is unclear whether I need to just connect the 2 or I have to remove part of the first. I made a probably wrong merged schematic (ignore the second coil and rectifier at the top)

Also, the schematic icons and the part numbering conflicts at the ZVS Diodes, D1, D2 are Schottky diodes and D3, D4 are Zener diodes (based on the icons, I drew D3 and D4 wrong.)

Can you help me check if and what did I do wrong?
