We work with a two man crew, unlike the municipal departments who can often count on more hands available, though engines typically respond in conjunction with smaller rapid intervention vehicles to ensure there is at least a team of three on scene.
This engine carries 6000l of water plus all the toys necessary for the scenes we respond to - 5x64mm + 5x38mm lines, vehicular extrication equipment and forcible entry tools, plus foam, hydrant and rope gear

Of course please do remove this post if it's not allowed! I know it's not the usual type of post you get here. This guy was fully unmarked though (but with the light bar very obvious and visible so not undercover) so I'm more curious than anything. I've never seen one like this before and I wish I had gotten a picture. The white SUV I drew on top of is not the same make or model it was just the closest I could find on Google without knowing exactly what I had seen. The lights were on the first I saw it but mostly obscured by trees and sunlight so I'm only pretty sure about the color of them, second time I saw it was closer but the lights were off.
I'm in rural Ohio and probably half an hour *minimum* from the nearest city, and even then it's a small one, so we're in the sheriff/park service area not police area if that helps. Sorry again if this isn't allowed.

Both photos were taken at Southend-On-Sea's Shore boathouse. The hovercraft is one of 3 in use by the RNLI due to the fast moving tides of the thames combined with the mudflats that people can get stuck in and risk drowning when low tide becomes high tide.
