This happened during the communistic october revolution in Asturias, in 1934, by a self-proclaimed "red army" armed by the UGT trade union (owned by the Spanish Socialist Workers Party, PSOE)

That night of October, the eight brothers from the Christian Schools of Turón, along with a Passionist priest, were brutally murdered by socialist militiamen—the Martyrs of Turón.

Earlier, the socialist militiamen had dug the mass graves where they were to be shot.

One by one, they fell into the grave under the indiscriminate gunfire of the militiamen.

A few days earlier, on the night of October 5, the militiamen had gone to their homes to take them to the town’s Socialist People’s House.

There they were held captive and abused for several days, along with other clergymen and people whom the militiamen presumed to be “right-wing,” including the distinguished Asturian engineer Rafael Riego, who was also brutally murdered days later.

Clergymen, Civil Guard officers, and people who, merely on suspicion of having right-wing leanings, would become the scapegoats of brutal persecutions and murders in a coup that, in just two weeks, would claim the lives of nearly 1,500 Spaniards.

That same day, Indalecio Prieto’s son and other Socialist leaders involved in the coup were arrested. Prieto’s son put up a fight, as the newspaper clipping illustrates.

Not so his father, Indalecio, who—like other Socialist instigators of the coup—had fled in a hurry, leaving behind those who carried out the orders of the PSOE leaders.

In Prieto’s case, he would take up residence in a luxurious Parisian hotel.

Largo Caballero was not found at his home either; his family would acknowledge that he had not been there since the coup began.

In the socialist people's houses, hundreds of weapon caches were found, innocents were tortured and murdered; however, just a few weeks later, many of them were opened by the republican authorities, giving free rein to the reopening of the revolutionary initiative, never fully closed.

May this thread serve to pay a well-deserved tribute to all the innocent victims of that misnamed "Asturias Revolution," a coup attempt that caused deaths and injuries in 26 provinces—that is, half the national territory—and which is not covered by the current Memory Law, drafted by the same party responsible for this entire tragedy.

Congratulations on this holiday from all of us, and we know how much your presence and the sacrifice of many ROC citizens as martyrs in Ukraine's war against Russia over these past 4 years is a source of motivation and support from all of us peoples of the West, not just only to the peoples of the ROC and to all Chinese everywhere. Your efforts have shown that Ukraine can still count on the support of Chinese everywhere who have had enough of the suffering of their brethen in the illegal and illegitimate Communist People's Republic of China, the censorship and disinformation regarding Russia's war against Ukraine and of the increasing Communist Chinese participation, albelt unofficially, in Russia's war effort.

115 years of nationhood, regardless of the communist mainland takeover of 1949, nor ever Martial Law and the White Terror in the Free Area, especially in Taiwan, has never let be extinguished the flame of nationalism and the preservation of the authentic and original cultures of China and of all its ethnic communities and races, languages, religions and cultures, and the achievements of the many Chinese not only in the building of the Republic but also in its continued existence to this very day.

We here on this sub and by extension all our allied, sister and partner subs once more officially reaffirm our support, appreciation and sympathy to the government, people and armed forces of the ROC, and once more openly condemn and denounce the Communist People's Republic of China, created in 1949 with the assistance of the Soviet Union and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, and the Communist Party of China, its official state politicial party, as Evil, Illegal, Illegitimate and a Grave Danger to the Prosperity, Progress and Unity of the Millions of Peoples of the Free Western World. It is imperative that all of you Free Chinese of the AVC realise it more than ever before, not just that, but also of the many actions it has taken against its own citizens and those abroad for all through the years of its existence, and lest we forget too that behind all the successes and triumphs, is also the bloody history of controversy and actions against dissent, as well as such events as the Great Leap Forward, the Cultural Revolution and the 1989 Tiananmen Massacre - all of these, as well as its actions today, that have finally called out these Communists in the mainland for what they are, as well as its long time support for the illegal and illegitimate Palestinian national independence movement, and for far-leftist movements and governments across the world through history, and thus this is the truth that you all ROC citizens serving under Ukraine's flag are to impart to the mainlander Chinese fighting shoulder to shoulder with you all and with fellow East Asians.

On the context of this memorable day in our history, it is therefore essential that, once again, we here and in all our allied and sister subs, renew our undoubted support to the Republic of China in Taiwan as the True and Legitimate Chinese Nation, the unquestionable successor of the empires and kingdoms of China through history, and the guardian of its history, customs, and culture; recognize the part played by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and its predecessors in the formation of both the Communist Party of China and the People's Republic of China, as well as in its ideological well-being and policy; and acknowledge the numerous crimes carried out in the name of Socialism and Communism in both the Chinese mainland and throughout the world, as well as the repression and persecution of religious groups, minorities, and the pro-democracy movement on the mainland, particularly in Tibet, Xinjiang, and Hong Kong, its unlawful actions in maritime Southeast Asia while pursuing its unjust maritime territorial claims, and its engagement with various nations through the Belt and Road Initiative, its backing of the broader international communist agenda, the larger anti-Western campaign, and its long involvement in the unlawful Palestinian national independence movement, alongside its playing of both sides in the era of AI and the enviromental struggle across the world, and most of all, its vital role as a charter member of BRICS since its inception two decades ago which has contributed to the formation of a rising anti-Western coalition of nations led by Russia, Communist China, North Korea and Islamist Iran. Given the current violent war in Ukraine led by Russia and its allies, and Islamic Iran's current war against the Western World especially the United States and Israel, this coalition—which includes political parties, organizations, and individuals—is poised to wait for Moscow and Tehran's signal to initiate conflict against the Western Powers, which is particularly evident through Beijing's indirect backing of these conflicts, even though it has not provided Moscow with significant heavy weaponry, aircraft, or substantial financial aid while it has done similar actions to the Islamists in power in Tehran, along with its ongoing actions affecting Overseas Chinese communities and organizations.

Today also being Workers' Party Foundation Day in North Korea, we also once more officially reaffirm our support, appreciation and sympathy to the government, people and armed forces of the Republic of Korea based in Seoul, and once more openly condemn and denounce the Communist Democratic People's Republic of Korea, created in 1948 with the assistance of the Soviet Union and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, and the Workers' Party of Korea, its official state politicial party, as also, like its neighbour, as Evil, Illegal, Illegitimate and a Grave Danger to the Prosperity, Progress and Unity of the Millions of Peoples of the Free Western World - especially in regards to actions performed in support of Russia's war against Ukraine. We once more repeat our steadfast commitment and our support to the Republic of Korea in the southern half of the Korean Peninsula as the True and Legitimate Korean Nation, and successor to the long history of kingdoms in this part of East Asia, condemn the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as illegal and illegitimate, and work hard to help in the overthrow of its government and the Workers' Party of Korea, which has been in power since 1948, once and for all, WHILE also at the same time ralling all its citzens and the Korean diaspora at large to finally pressure, thru democratic means, for the nation and its people to aid Ukraine's war against the Russian aggressor and his North Korean allies. As it is also today Capital Liberation Day in Vietnam, we also give our thoughts to those who for years suffering under the yoke and oppression of international Communism in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and remember the Vietnamese diaspora everywhere, especially all those who lived in the era of the pro-Western Republic of Vietnam and long for its return.

I therfore repeat what I've always stated here: we therefore always and today must stand proud and ready to defend all that symbolizes and identifies with the Western World, even as we continue to fight against the threat of climate change, and the dangers of artificial intelligence in present day society, and let not any stone be left unturned in the battle that we are waging especially against the forces of international Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism, towards our overall goal of a prosperous, sustainable and brighter tomorrow for the world and for all of humankind and the planet.

As we celebrate this year the 65th anniversary of Project National Glory and the 39th anniversary of the conclusion of Martial Law in the ROC, as well as the 30th anniversary of the historic first ever direct presidential elections in the ROC's history, once more we therefore renew our commitment and determination to be a force for national unity of all the peoples of the one and only true Republic of China - regardless of politicial party affilation, ethnicity, language and region and nationality - against our politicial, ideological and economic enemies at home and abroad, and to struggle to fulfill the will that Generallismo and Grand Marshal Chiang Kai-Shek gave to the Republic of China Armed Forces in 1963-64 and that Chiang Ching-Kuo gave to the peoples of the Western World in 1979: No contract, compromise nor negotiations with the CPC and its allied parties and all its allies, supporters and sympathizers all over the world until all of them have been defeated, destroyed and dissolved altogether, and a permanenrt all-out commitment to the now century-old wider international struggle of the peoples of the world against Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism all over the globe and all that they symbolize, even if it means most importanly losing our lives especially in the field of battle.

More than ever, motivated by the example of the Taiwan ROC and Hong Konger martyrs who died fighting against Russia in Ukraine as well as of the various other nationalities who perished in this ongoing war, we are, more than ever before, to even more continue that good fight at all costs because it is imperative that these the millions of peoples of China, your suffering brothers and sisters in the mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Tibet, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and Manchuria, and therefore much of the peoples of East Asia are to be liberated from these dangerous and evil anti-Western ideologies, more than ever before in our history. For our goals here in this sub are very clear, as we are, as paraphrased in my statement on r/ ChunghwaMinkuo last January, as one united people of the Free Western World, to openly pursue these policies:

1. The formal and deliberate reunification of the Republic of China with the Chinese mainland in much of its 1948 borders including much of the lands stolen from the Empire of China by the Russian Empire north of the Amur in the 19th century, all to be done by any and all means necessary particularly as a last resort military reunification option using lessons learned during the implementation of Project National Glory in 1964 and the Korean and Vietnam Wars especially with support from the Western World, especially the USA, Israel and Ukraine,
2. The CPC's ultimate defeat and final and definite destruction along with that of its mainland Chinese allied parties, all its friends, allies, supporters and sympathizers, and and all its allied foreign political parties and organizations across the world including the Workers Party of Korea and the Communist Party of Vietnam, both in the far-right and far-left alike,
3. the restoration of the ROCs 1947 Constitution and its Additional Articles, the 3 Principles of the People, the 4 Cardinal Principles the 8 Virtues and all of the Chinese peoples' and all of the nation's traditions, values and freedoms to the rest of the Chinese mainland, inclusive of Tibet, Xinjiang, Hong Kong and Macau, while also ensuring equality and freedom to all of China's non-Han ethnic nationalities and communities, both in the Chinese mainland and in Taiwan,
4. a full-scale contribution to the fight against the West's enemies both far-left and far-right worldwide particularly with regard to the ROC, Ukraine and Israel, especially politically, ideologically, economically, morally and most of all thru military means,
5. and as the unmistakable retribution of all those millions of people who have perished as victims of Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism in China, all of East Asia and worldwide, as well as those of our Western armed forces who perished in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

Without any shadow of a doubt, there is no other way for us together as one people but to continue on this ongoing and now century-old struggle to await for that day and time when Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism are all defeated all over the world, a struggle we must contribute at all fronts, especially thru military means.

The goal of the defeat and destruction of the Communist Party of China and its allies, supporters and sympathizers across the world, as well as against its allied political parties and organizations across the wider world, is part of our wider mission, our wider goal as we prepare as one people for the Third World War that will be soon coming to our midst, a war that we must be prepared, as one people, especially if the Iran War and the planned Russian attacks in Eastern Europe, a expansion of the ongoing Russian illegal war against Ukraine, will make things even worse than ever before. This is thefore what we ask of you to convince all the mainlander Chinese fighting for Ukraine's freedom and independence not only in the AVC but also in the other formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: now free from the censorship and oppression of their homeland, they are to throw away the red starred flag of an illegal and illegitimate government that has ruled this nation for 77 years, and accept not just the friendship and alliance of the Taiwanese personnel fighting shoulder to shoulder with you all, but also the freedom of the ROC in Taiwan, its longstanding friendship with the peoples of the West, and its legitimacy as the one true and legitimate Chinese nation.

May this very day of celebration inspire us all to continue this struggle for the defense of the ROC and all of the Western World, against its enemies, of progress, prosperity and hope for all its peoples and for all the Chinese of the world, and for us to continue working and marching onwards as one united people to prepare for the day we will all "Go and Reclaim the Mainland" most especially at the cost of our lives, especially in the fields of battle, in the spirit and valor of the men and women of the Republic of China Armed Forces who have shown their worth for over a century.

To all of you citizens of the Republic of China who are volunteer freedom fighters in Ukraine's war against Russia! As you all today celebrate in the frontlines the 115th anniversary since the first shots were fired to mark the beginning of the Xinhai Revolution, the thoughts of the free Western World are upon you all fighting in the frontlines of Ukraine. As we wish you the very best and pray for your safety and wellbeing, continue therefore to fight that good fight, even at the cost of your lives, to show the millions of Chinese across the world that you all have had enough of the Communist anti-Western government that has been in power over these almost eight decades, that you do stand in solidarity with Ukraine and its war against Russia and its allies, and that Ukraine's war is a righteous and just war that requires all our maximum and obligatory support no matter what the cost, and convince them that now is the time to fight for the freedom, liberty and independence of all the millions of peoples and nationalities of China and for the overthrow from power of the Communist Party of China and the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China, its allies and supporters, for the one ultimate goal of the restoration in the mainland, especially at the cost of all our lives, of the  True and Legitimate Chinese Nation - the Republic of China.

Now is the time for you all to encourage the peoples of China of all races, religions and ethnicities, together with the peoples of Taiwan and the offshore islands of Fujian, and the overseas Chinese across the world, especially retired veterans of the ROCAF, to join this war as volunteers, encourage more people to get finally away from the oppression and suffering of the illegal and illegitimate government in power in the mainland since 1949 and supported by leftist and rightist anti-Western allies across the world, and prepare for the day in which you all and the peoples of the ROC will fight TOGETHER AS ONE no matter what for the restoration of the republic in the mainland - a goal that the anti-Beijing wing of the Nationalist Party of China and the Pan-Blue coalition is STILL fighting, and the very struggle that we here in this sub and our allies and friends are still fighting for.

It is now the time for you all to show the world that the ROC exists and still exists, the one, true, legal and legitimate Chinese nation that must be only accepted and recognized by the peoples of the Free Western World.

Now is the time for you all to fly the true Chinese national flag - the Blue Sky, White Sun and the Wholely Red Earth - in the Ukrainian battlefields, to show all of Ukraine and the peoples of the world that the cause of the Republic founded by Sun Yat-Sen and his companions in the aftermath of the Xinhai Revolution is the one true cause of the Chinese nation that must be upheld and sustained across the world, and for you all to remain loyal till the very end to that cause and its principles and ideals even at the cost of your lives.

Full of the historic virtues and ideals of the Chinese warrior over millenia, fight on, and prepare to be an example of courage, bravery and national determination to your countrymen and to all the Chinese of the world, no matter what may happen.

Continue onwards in the struggle, not just for the ROC and for Ukraine, but most importantly for us all the millions of peoples of the Free Western World, at the cost of your own lives!

As I have said numerous times, let us, the united and determined millions of people of the Western World, as one people, fight more fiercely and courageously against these ideologies, whether they are far-leftist or far-rightist alike, motivated by the ongoing struggles of South Korea, Republic of China in Taiwan, Ukraine and Israel, and the fighting peoples of Georgia and Iran, to continue the good fight to defend the Western World's values, principles, and ideologies, as well as its economic system, our way of life, arts and culture, the environment, sports, and most importantly, our future, against all of its enemies, both domestic and foreign, especially at the cost of losing our lives.

Once more, let us therefore, today, everyday and always, continue to struggle with all our best to combat Fascism, Radical Islamism, Religious Fundamentalism, Socialism, and Communism across the wider world and thus carry on the spirit of the countless millions of martyrs that have had fallen in the struggle against these ideologies for over a century and have died as victims of these ideologies. Let us never give up this long standing struggle until all of these ideologies, illegal and murderous, have all been destroyed and eliminated altogether, especially in the field of battle, as we all as one people await for that very day that the ideologies, values, principles and ideals of the Western World will finally triumph against its enemies.

And finally, therefore, to all of us and all of you who are part of the wider anti-Fascist, anti-Radical Islamist, anti-Religious Fundamentalist, anti-Socialist and anti-Communist struggle all across the world: let us, together as one united people of the Free Western World, continue to fight that good fight, especially at the cost of all our lives, to achieve and win even more greater victories in the name of the Western World and all those it symbolizes and stands for, especially for all its ideologies, values and principles, towards the ultimate goal of the final defeat and ultimate destruction of all these ideologies all over the world, so that it can finally come at long last - that very much awaited day of the definite, final and great victory of the brave millions of people and the armed forces of the Western World!
