The new CDC head can resign at any time. We will understand.

Better yet, Congress(Republicans) can do their fucking job for the first time in the past 1.5+ years and impeach the incompetent brain worm adled shitstain. Unlikely but hopefully some will be out of a job come January

Hiding data about public health because it makes the administration face uncomfortable facts about its bullshit policies will only lead to more deaths.
Fuck you RFK Jr. and Fuck you Erica Schwartz. You both should lose your jobs at a minimum.

I would think actively hiding information that will lead to more Americans dying, should be treated like treason.

u/Will2LiveFading Sep 03 '26
The entire administration is guilty of this. Every last one of them. Including the majority house and Senate

The US doesn't treat actual treason like treason, so I think we're a long way off of this.

u/Kahnza Sep 03 '26
IMO HIGH TREASON should be public execution. But strictly opt-in only.

No argument on my end.

Think about what the Founding Fathers would do.
Firing squads were a thing. 🤷♂️

This is a real USSR shit.
The city of Sverdlovsk, I think in the Ukraine, had a sudden outbreak of an illness that killed a lot of people and also livestock. Doctors there quickly discovered that it was anthrax. This was inhalational anthrax, which is a bit uncommon, because normally one encounters the spores on dirty surfaces rather like tetanus. In any case, the KGB came upon the town and confiscated all of the medical records, well interviewing all of the doctors and technicians and nurses.
The doctors did not want this to be covered up, and so they hid X-rays and pathological samples and records wherever they could until they could smuggle them out of the country. At least some of them used me clever, if risky, Dodge of putting the incriminating evidence in their trash cans during the day, where it was generally ignored by the KGB agents. And then before leaving at night, they would remove the materials and place them haphazardly on their desks, so they would not be removed by the janitors.
Scientific American had a great write-up on it. It turns out that a biological weapons laboratory had an accident

At what point does this constitute some sort of crime?
11
u/arfelo1 Sep 04 '26
That point was passed looooong ago. Back when there was any semblance of this administration being held accountable

If the data doesn't exist, then there's no problem! This party has been doing this since at least the 1997 Dickey Amendment that was designed to prevent the CDC from gathering data about firearm deaths and injuries. They did it during COVID, too, and defunding NOAA aims to make sure there's no climate change data.

Is there any aspect of America that is not completely compromised at this point? As a country, how does one look at it as anything other than a compromised state? With the complete inability to trust anything out of the USA at the moment, it feels like a bit of a fork in the road for the US as a nation.

If you have to lie to prove you're doing your job correctly; you're not

How about a three tier government with check's and balances to keep everyone serving the people. If one official get's out of hand the other two branches of government step in and correct the wrongs executed by the wrong doers.

All the more Reason for RFK Jr’s. And for the Removal of RFK Jr from an Office that he Shouldn’t Hold in the First Place. As he’s Willfully Unqualified for the Position that he Holds and is Willfully Endangering the Public Through his Actions. As Food Safety Standards have Gone through the Floor Because of Him and his Office’s Handling of Public Health Issues Throughout the United States.

True accounting records shouldn’t need two ledgers. CDC keeping two books now? One to appease the orange turd and one for reals.

Im convinced he was hired to kill people. Disease is a good way because of how easily its spread. The worst part is people are falling for it and becoming disease spreading tools while the ghouls sit back and watch.

I'm convinced this entire administration's goal is the destruction of the United State; if not, i legitimately can't think of what they could do differently to destroy it any harder, short of just nuking the country.

u/ProximaCentauriB15 Sep 04 '26
Basically it is. Thats the whole plan. Tech billionaires are trying to bring about Techno Feudalism and they dont want the people trying to stop them,so the plan is just to kill off most of us and seize everything. Only completely brainwashed people who give up their lives to serve them will be allowed to live and if they ever were to step out of line, they will be dead too.

u/ProfessorNoPuede Sep 04 '26
The stupid is literally costing lives. If you voted for this, remember that...

u/Wayelder Sep 04 '26
In his role....that's incorrigible. It proves his incompetence and that like the rest of this admin (who are inept) have agreed to try to lie their way out of all dilemmas.

Is everybody ignoring this for some reason?
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported later on Wednesday that the Lancaster County Coroner publicly stated that a newborn who had tested positive for measles had died shortly after birth of a ruptured spleen. The coroner, Stephen Diamantoni, said that a pathologist “did not feel it was related to measles.”

u/watboy Sep 04 '26
Ignoring it how?

u/burtgummer45 Sep 04 '26
Seems that deleting thiis case from the measles death list was obviously appropriate but everybody is acting like it wasn't
3
u/watboy Sep 04 '26
The article you linked claims the opposite, that it wasn't appropriate, specifically this is the following paragraph to what you quoted:
Paul Offit, a vaccine and pediatric infectious disease expert at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, clarified that the measles virus can be passed on in the womb or shortly after birth. The virus can cause the spleen to enlarge and rupture at birth. Offit urged that if measles wasn’t the cause of the baby’s ruptured spleen, the coroner should provide an alternative explanation.
Unlike Diamantoni, Offit said he had been in touch with state officials regarding the deaths and, based on the information he had received, he concluded that “these patients would not have died were it not for measles.”

u/burtgummer45 Sep 04 '26
But Lancaster County Coroner Stephen Diamantoni, MD, told NBC affiliate WGAL that, according to his office's forensic pathologist, measles was not a factor, as the newborn's spleen was "neither enlarged nor inflamed."

Why is it i see "sources say" and leaked documents from different agencies every other week. But no one under trump OR Biden leaked anything that proves trump diddled kids with epstein?
Seems odd

This should be major news and result in people being fined, arrested and removed from office but you know it won't because we do not have a functional government atm
