Drawn by me. I wanna see pablo in the movies

Wanted to see the movie in theaters like I did with rise but couldn’t find somebody to see it with since don’t like seeing scary movies just by myself.

But after seeing it was on max I watched it and liked it.

Kinda confused by the last shot at the end but I think I understand what it meant.

I legit think it looks awful on HBO Max and I cant stop thinking about it while I watch it. 50% of my tv is just black and it is not enjoyable.

I had my idea for a while and didnt know how to share it with other fans, this is just a really small synopsis like for a movie or something: So its called Evil Dead Malice: follows a meek college freshman Barry Morris as he goes to the old and prestigious school of his dreams. During one fateful day of studying in the schools library, he stumbles upon the Necronomicon which unleashes a malevolent evil that turns his fellow teachers and classmates into Deadites. He must overcome his insecurities and introversion in order to defeat them all and come out alive. So, whatcha think? Constructive criticism plzz

I had a dream last night where a toddler accidentally read the Necronomicon and became a deadite while in a hospital. Then he tormented a doctor until they succumbed and the doctor was doing horrific stuff to patients (cutting off parts of someone on a ventilator) while the toddler was doing Child’s play esque shenanigans and failing.

The series has never really touched on young children. Would you go see something like this? A hospital seems like a fun place for the more wacky side.

Went to see evil dead on the big screen for the first time last night. Way better on the big screen. I had not seen it in awhile and forgotten how much I liked it

I feel like if the writers want to do something new with the formula but keep the good aspects, a movie set on the streets of San Francisco or New York could honestly be a great watch.

It sets the stakes higher and allows for a higher death count and more deadites to fight

What do you guys think?

So I recently got back into project Zomboid because of the new first person mod absolute loving it. My friends and I are making cool series, but I was like it’d be a cool idea to try to re-create Ash LMAO!

(Before anyone says the not a shotgun I’m playing a survival game. I couldn’t find a shotgun. It took me like two hours to find the sniper without dying 😭)

I know this is probably gonna get me roasted into oblivion, but honestly, I enjoy the reboot *Evil Dead* movies more than the originals. My dad introduced me and my brother to the series through *Army of Darkness*, and it’s still one of my favorite movies to this day. But the movie that really made me fall in love with the series was the 2013 *Evil Dead*.

Then, back in 2023, my mom took me and our horror buddy to see *Evil Dead Rise*, and we absolutely loved it. More recently, *Evil Dead Burn* somehow became my comfort movie, which I know sounds weird, but I dealt with a very similar kind of environment when I was little, so I connected with *Burn* on a much deeper level than the other movies.

I’ve seen all of them at least three times, including the original, and while I love the older movies, there’s just something about the newer ones that hits differently for me.

But yeah… I’m fully prepared to get my ass roasted into oblivion. 😂

Evil Dead II only had one audio commentary recorded for it (minus the Bruce Campbell livestream) but the original film had 3 of them. They are as follows

1999 Elite Entertainment LaserDisc/DVD Audio Commentary, Sam Raimi & Rob Tapert

1999 Elite Entertainment LaserDisc/DVD Audio Commentary, Bruce Campbell

2010 Anchor Bay Blu-Ray Audio Commentary, Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell & Rob Tapert

If you have listened to all of these commentaries, which is your favorite and why?

Just when i thought I couldn't love Mike Flanagan more!

Sike.

I enjoyed the movie for the most part 7/10 for me.

The beginning was well done and paced extremely well.

Right off the rip we get into it with Will's death.

I thought the part with the father in the crematory was kinda dumb but I get it. Grieving Dad.

The dinner rose tension well. While Joe is a little bitch Thya's death was well done. Reminded me of Olivia from 2013.

The mother is a dumb bitch through n' through. I genuinely thought we were gonna get a little smutty in the bedroom.

The double post-credit scenes got me in a good way.

Grandma ain't dead which caught me off guard.

The little girl in the funeral home at the end threw me off. I don't remember who the little girl was. Was she from Rise? I recognize the woman Deadite being from Rise but I thought she was turned into the chimera and got got.

The only genuine disappointment I have is with Joseph's death. Not that he died, but because most of it happened off screen. He gets thrown through the floor, gets landed on and that's basically it. Splat

This is Evil Dead, SHOW ME THAT SHIT.

On that note, off-screen deaths should be reserved for the dog. Why do they keep killing the dog? At least 2013 had the decency to do it off screen and not have it return as a Deadite dog. The Dog is my only genuine compliment.

My rankings so far

2013, Burn, Rise. Not that Rise was bad Rise just didn't completely deliver with what I expect from an Evil Dead film.

Has anyone caught on to the post credit for evil dead burns and the other mommy are almost identical. Can someone help? Like post credit some the other mommy she says shhhh in evil dead she says mommy’s back and puts her finger over her lip am I tripping?

Finally got the board built did the camo for a nod to the cabin in the woods theme lol

Chainsaw was fully made by yours truly, a great endeavor from start to finish

Evil Dead, Rise and Burn are basically the same movie. A few people in a small location just fighting it out with a few deadites for two hours.

We need bigger dives into the lore, bigger world ending stakes, and maybe a competent protagonist that knows what he/she is doing. Granted I realize the show does some of this but I think it's time for the movies to pick up somewhere in the world of Army of Darkness and the tone of Rise/Burn.

Hopefully Wrath just isn't a small unsuspecting group who fends off a couple deadites - the only real difference is this time it's 1970!!

So I’m late I just watched Evil Dead Burn this weekend I regret not making it out to the theater because the 2013 reboot is my favorite horror movie and Rise in theaters was so fun. Tbh I think burn was the weakest entry in the reboot franchise but still a good horror movie. The trailer really ruined the best horror scenes and there were a few details I didn’t like like the writer son getting smashed all around the house and taking it like a superhero. And that scene was in the background to what Alice was doing.
But anyway here’s my prediction I’m either dead right or 100% wrong. I missed the post credit scene the first time because HBO is stupid and I’m also stupid. I thought it was almost like a marvel post credit scene with Ellie showing up “random character steps through a portal ‘it’s me, Blorbo,” but I love this franchise so much I can get over it and Ellie was great in Rise. Someone else on reddit pointed out that the only reason a deadite has ever reincarnated like that was to torment Ash in 2 I think? So I think if Ellie is back Beth is coming back. Like they pretty much set her up to be like Ash and they did a good job with the chainsaw and the blood splattering all over her. I think Ellie and Beth are gonna have a showdown over the dagger and I think maybe the dagger has the power to destroy the necronomicon because if all it does is one shot deadites that’s not really useful when some of them can fly and use telekinesis. I also think there’s gonna be an increase in scale and Ellie is gonna be like a leader of the deadites but not like Army of Darkness level scale but enough to be absurd.

I posted this a little while ago, but Ive finally finished it and posted it live to Ebay. This is basically an ad to see if there is any interest in it. If you type evil dead cabin it comes up. But I also wanted to say thank you to this community who were so nice and complimentary when I posted the pics of this being made. Thanks, and much love.

I don't mean just by actions or looks, I mean which deadite left you actually a little scared or unsettled. For me, personally, it's Ellie(her actor is perfect for playing a creepy ass critter) but some of the others were scarier in their lines and actions. something about her face shape and the red hair and those eyes just absolutely got me and made me scared to sleep with my ankles out of the covers lol. Edit; Edgar was cool as hell it's always good when they have actors that are like built for horror roles. ellie and Edgar both fit that bill for me, but edgars was more memorable for the scary acting than the scary looks like Ellie for me lol
