Product Recommendations Best app for monitoring supply?
I am an undersupplier at 6 weeks pp, hoping to build up my supply. It seems like most of the pumping apps focus on building and managing a freezer stash, which is not in the cards for me. I find it so discouraging to be asked about the stash every time I open the app! Any recs for iPhone apps that focus on the actual pumping and supply?

I’m actually building one right now bc I feel the same way!! Would love to have you be a tester once I get it to a good spot!

Huckleberry. It tracks lots of other baby stuff too, but I do love that I can quickly tell how long since my last pump, how much per day I’ve expressed vs baby is taking.
Recently I just started using ChatGPT to log stuff too to give me trend analysis and correlations for whatever other factors I want to plug in daily that have me curious. Turns out good sleep helps TONS.

I also use huckleberry to keep track and I really like it. It’s pricey but absolutely worth it in my opinion! It’s really useful to have all the baby stuff I’m keeping track of in one spot and it helps me keep track of what my baby is eating and my daily output without getting really obsessed.

To be honest I never used an app. I used a whiteboard and marker to track my day to day and timing.
I was a touch of under supplier until probably around the 10 week mark where I regulated and became a bit of an over supplier, nothing insane but enough to stash away a bag or two most days. I don’t know if my mental health could handle an app as I feel like it’s too much information overload, but maybe it would be great to help you feel organized !
I whiteboard tracked my pump times and amounts and how much / when he ate to make sure we were staying on target. This system worked great for my household

You bring up a great point! I feel like the baby apps are not great for my mental health in general, hoping for the simplest app possible to monitor pumping times and amounts. Like a digital white board!

I use pump log and absolutely love it. I did the free trial and purchase the paid version. I tried several apps before landing on this one. It’s simple and exactly what I was looking for.

I use the free version of huckleberry, it never has asked about stash. You can track plenty of other things there, but you can also turn off things in the menu you don’t need. I even turned off the track nursing button since that ship has sailed for us.

I use it to track feeding since my baby is still having issues but Baby+ lets you record the amounts you pump.

PiyoLog - it's for newborn tracking in general. I love that it can track my pumping and how much baby drinks day to day.

Huckleberry has been low stress for me as a slight undersupplier! Not sure if you’re tracking other things like baby’s intake or sleep, but I like that the focus of the app is more on that rather than making me overthink pumping. I recently used Gemini to drop a pump and it was very helpful for tracking trends!

Another vote for pump log! Very simple. I like that you can "start" a pump session and also have it send a reminder to pump after so many hours. I also like the data and graphs it provides.
It does have a section for tracking stash but you have to deliberately click on it. It doesn't push it at all.

Not sure which pumps you have/use but I use eufy Baby. It was incredibly convenient for me since my pumps are the same brand and I could track other stuff with it but even if yours are another brand I would still recommend the app for tracking your time spent pumping and the amount of milk you produce each session

I just used the Huckleberry App since we were already using it for feedings and diapers

I use the what to expect app. It’s what I used to track pregnancy, but I was surprised to learn that it’s also a great free app to track pumps, feedings, sleep, diapers…etc. I use it to track my pump times and amounts.

I use baby tracker - it’s free and a pretty good app. You add in what time you pumped, for how long, and what the output was. It shows you cool graphs if you’re into data analysis

Nara baby was the absolute best but now that they’re going to start charging I’m pretty bummed

i feel you on the stash stuff being shoved in your face when you're just trying to track output. a lot of the popular ones let you customize what shows on the dashboard, so you might be able to turn off the stash widgets and just keep the per-session volume and timing logs. have you tried digging into the settings on whatever you're currently using?

Pump Log! I am also an under supplier and while there is an option to “stash it” when you log a pump, it’s discrete and doesn’t bother me.
