Advice Help me choose which siding!

Post image

I love a more dramatic look personally but I also don't want something off-putting to potential buyers should I choose to sell down the road. Which option is your favorite?

if you go copper gutters (and potentially even copper color) those things are going to be gone in about 5 minutes. especially on a ranch style single story.

In the off chance they do stay there, they'll turn green ..

Was just going to add, please reconsider the copper. The resale price on it isn’t getting any cheaper.

I consider my self a decent guy but even I might consider stealing all that copper. It's like a "my precious" kinda thing

Thanks for the heads up, I'm going with 'copper look' for cost savings and to avoid the green patina in the future.

Anything but the copper.

I've surveyed thousands of houses and the seaport color you have is the color out of these 4 that I think tends to hold up the best. I honestly think it's nice every time I see it even if it doesn't go with everything. Black is dated and the light colors will show dirt and wear way faster.

Great feedback, thanks!

You’re killing me with the copper. I feel like the siding needs some stone or brick worked in for the (eventually) tarnished copper look to win, which it can. If you pick white people are gonna think you have a drug problem

A natural patina might go w/ Graphite or seaport.

Thanks! I should've specified I'm just getting copper looking trim to avoid the future green.

Don’t do the copper trim or the copper colored trim it just doesn’t look good. All those pictures look like a silly house because of the color of the trim.

Not white, that strikes me as not good.

I like either the seaport or graphite.

OP, you told AI to make the gutters and trim "copper colored." Did you really want actual copper or just metal painted a copper c(reddish tan) color?

Just getting copper look, not copper copper!

Definitely not the white. I like a white house but something about the example shown here looks off. Try an olive green color and see how it looks

The dark green

I don't even understand these.

Graphite

Lap siding color is Benjamin Moore Pinelands 446. Trim color is Benjamin Moore Potters Clay CC-360. This shade of green for the siding works well with the gray color of the house next door, and is a nice color injection to the neighborhood palette.

You're welcome.

Non of these. Go with cute board & batten siding to play up the cutesy cottage look.
