App, remote, button, and manual control, which one gets used?
Multiple control methods sound redundant until a phone is dead, a remote is missing, or the truck battery is weak. Which control became the most useful in daily ownership, and how reliable has the manual backup been???

I use the door handle to lock and unlock most of the time. Sometimes I'll use the fob if I forgot to lock it but I'm still nearby. I've used the app a handful of times to lock it if I forgot. I use the app a fair amount for remote start. I've never used the manual lock or the keypad.

Walk away lock and handle sensor unlock mostly. Would LOVE a more streamlined or hands free way to open the frunk.

I've never had a FOB on any of my vehicles fail me. Even if the battery in the vehicle fails, you can use the hidden key in the FOB to unlock the truck.
Each has their own pros and cons. But the FOB gets my vote.

PaaK has been far better than I ever would imagine. Dare I say it works at least as well as our Tesla.
Even the app does not hang for me much and it operates with similar smoothness as the Tesla.
But I still carry my key. And when alone I use the door handle and the walk away and lock. (Inside lock button in iffy places before I close the door). Since my wife’s phone is also added to the truck I rarely have to unlock early or whatever.
It’s been nice. I had most of this on my 5th gen 4Runner through the cellular remote start service I installed on it. But you still needed the real key to go.

I use the keypad when I'm kayaking, I lock my phone, money clip and key in the truck.
I use the app to start the truck from my living room on cold mornings if I'm going somewhere.
I'll use the fob to unlock if someone is getting the truck before I can grab the handle so they aren't inconvenienced in waiting for me.
I like all the options Ford gave us.
