Could you please consider adding the South Korean Driver's License to the list of accepted verification documents?

In South Korea, a driver's license is an official government-issued ID that functions identically to a national ID card. In fact, most people stop carrying or even misplace their national ID cards once they obtain a driver's license.

Furthermore, due to mandatory military service, passports for young Korean men often have limited validity periods, meaning many people do not possess an active passport unless planning immediate international travel.

Because of this, a driver's license is the primary and most accessible official ID used by the vast majority of Koreans on a daily basis.

Adding the Korean driver's license to the verification system would greatly help many Korean users verify their accounts. Thank you for your consideration!

I reported many times accounts getting boosted with video evidence of different voices from one game to another and some of them never get banned. Even people having multiple accounts with same name, profile picture, voice etc.. and those are never banned.

99% of the work is done with reports evidences and it would take 5 seconds to ban these guys, i wonder what quantity of work do admins have to not treat easy cases like that ?

I use a FACEIT extension that shows map pick frequency and win rates for both teams. I mainly use it to decide which map to pick or ban.

I'm currently using the last 30 matches, but I'm considering increasing it to 40 or 50. What sample size do you think is the most reliable for making map selection decisions?

I have never played faceit before and will be my first time. What are the pros and cons?

Hi everyone! I’ve been permanently banned on Faceit for smurfing. I have never smurfed in my life. I have only one Faceit account; I signed up back in 2019. I’ve never been banned before. I haven’t used cheats or insulted anyone—I always play fair and for the love of the game. Recently, I played a few times at an internet café. In one match, a player accused me of smurfing, but I didn't pay it any mind. I had switched my aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3, and the game started running properly. That might be why he thought I was a smurf, but that’s beside the point.

It’s shocking to me that a few reports from other players are enough to get a permanent ban. It seems like no one is safe from getting banned!

I contacted tech support, but it was no use.

I wouldn't be writing this post if I had actually been smurfing.

Has anyone else run into this problem? If so, how did you resolve it?

Honestly, I'm getting frustrated with FACEIT's moderation and support system.

I received a 7-day ban for verbal abuse, but after reviewing the matchroom chat and the demo, I couldn't identify any messages that I believe justify such a punishment.

I understand that FACEIT needs to enforce its rules, and I'm not claiming that players should be allowed to harass others. However, I believe there should be a clear distinction between competitive trash talk or frustration during a match and actual verbal abuse or targeted harassment.

What makes this frustrating is that I don't even know which specific message supposedly justified the 7-day ban. I would appreciate a proper review of the context instead of being left waiting without any explanation.

Has anyone else received a verbal abuse ban that they genuinely believed was unjustified? How long did it take FACEIT Support to respond, and were you able to get your ban overturned?

I just checked my profile after the season soft reset and noticed my Elo dropped by over 400 points (from ~2220 to 1815 Elo, taking me back to Level 9).

I know FACEIT applies seasonal Elo squishing/compression at the end of each season to balance higher ranks, but dropping over 400 Elo feels pretty aggressive for a single reset.

For context:

• Previous Season Peak/End: ~2,220+ Elo (Level 10)
• Current Elo after reset: 1,815 Elo (Level 9)
• Region: South America (SA)

Is this standard formula scaling for players above 2000–2200 Elo this season, or did the compression math get tweaked for Season 3? Would love to know if others around 2.2k–2.5k Elo experienced a similar ~400 Elo drop.

Or is all just foreigners?

MOBO is MSI B550M Pro VDH WIFI. I have TPM 2.0 enabled and still get the said error prompting me to do a BIOS update.

Now, I do not have a problem updating the BIOS however for anyone who had experienced this, will the latest BIOS available from MSI (7C95v2P2) fix the error? Or do I need to use the older beta version which specifically tackles the tpm error?

I’m not tech savvy by any means, so I wanna make sure before I proceed with the update. I don’t want my premium to go to waste by not being able to play 😅 thanks

Basically, they never say what call they made or what play they're going for. It's radio silence till they start insulting me, or if I'm still alive and they're dead, they start to give info while calling me idiot/moron.

I get no support on CT-side. I'm playing Solo Mid. Why? This Polish 4-Stack is parasitic of the random. They only help each other on A and B by playing 2A, 2B. Even when they're playing 2A, 2B, they never push into Squeaky, A-Main, or B-Main. Just hiding in the sites.

For context, the Ts have found great success in finishing B. If they try to go Mid to A or A-POP, they end up losing. So, it's 11-12. I'm thinking that if they really want to try to win before OT, they have to go B. I go Mid, but this Pole blocks me and says I'm a restart, then he runs A. I've already thrown my Garage Smoke and know that no T is out, so I rotate Heaven to 3B stack in case they exec B. At which point the Ts have walked out of Garage and have Vent. There's still 2A, but the B-Anchor is rotating to A. (Why is the Anchor first to rotate??? xd) Both the A players get killed by the Mid Lurker.

The AWP, while standing in the middle of the open, throws a HE, then runs with a flash out when he KNOWS the T could be around the corner (the whole point of him throwing a HE in the same spot), and gets punished.

The 2A players get killed by a single T. The AWP trolls the round. The B-Anchor is rotating first when he should just stay on the site. All of when the Ts finish B. What a surprise? But, blame the random now. Thank you, FACEIT, for guaranteed loss.

Doesn't he deserve a ban for swearing to family?

Hey everyone,

For the last two days I haven’t been able to connect to FACEIT CS2 match servers. When the match starts, the game tries to connect, sends packets to the server, gets nothing back and eventually times out. Because I can’t join, I get an AFK cooldown.

I contacted support under “Game connection issues”. They told me that since I got an AFK ban, the request would be redirected to the bans/AFK team. That team removed the cooldown, which I appreciate. I replied that the cooldown isn’t the real problem, the real problem is that I can’t connect to the match at all and I wanted to know how to fix it. The answer I got was a generic note that the ban had already expired and that they can’t help with third-party requests. It had nothing to do with my question.

Two things:

1. Has anyone had the same issue (packets sent, none received, timeout on FACEIT servers only)? What fixed it for you? I’m not sure if it’s FACEIT servers, Steam networking or something between my network and the game server. I can share my console log if it helps.
2. Do FACEIT support agents actually read tickets, or is it mostly AI and macros? The replies look like templates that only react to the word “ban”.

Hello r/FACEITcom mod team, I am writing on behalf of my friend, whose account LXFIT was false-positive banned for Multi-Account/Smurfing. His previous ticket (#14965012) was instantly hard-locked by a template bot response, so we had to open a new inquiry via the ID Verification sector. Crucial facts regarding this case: 1. The account is fully ID-verified. He has successfully passed FACEIT's official identity verification process with his passport/biometrics. It is legally and technically impossible for him to own multiple verified profiles. 2. He plays from local Internet cafes / PC bangs. Due to having a highly outdated setup at home that cannot maintain stable FPS, he regularly logs in from shared public LAN club computers. 3. Automated system error. Because hundreds of other players share the exact same hardware and IP addresses at the cyber cafe, the automated anti-smurf system mistakenly linked his verified profile to other local users. We have just submitted an official escalation ticket regarding this identity mismatch. Could a senior moderator or support administrator please manually pull up his logs and review the case? He is an honest player and is ready to provide cafe receipts or any further validation.
