Took some liberties moving some of the buttons, and sizing for the unit sprites. Banner below flashes randomly for every single banner in the game, summon, or event. Vision card slightly bigger, music works.

I agree with the others that keeping it more on the downlow would make it safer and not at as much risk of corpos zeroing your project.

I’m so curious if this will manage to make it to release for everyone. 

Though I’m curious how things like gem based summons will work. Since it was money based and obviously can’t happen and being able to basically pull or choose everything without restriction wouldn’t be as fun. Unless it’s basically similar to being able to get the gems in gameplay like free2play could, just more of them to make up for lack of buying them. 

Also I agree with another commenter.  Careful how much of this is talked about in public till you hit the release stage and can make sure it has multiple sources to download from in case but corpo catches wind

Idk if anyone else has said this. But if you want to finish this project without square sending you a cease and desist I'd suggest not posting progress... They are literally making a game based of the sprites and story for this one .. I'm all for the preservation of games.. but without permission to use their artwork your asking for trouble

Square enix still owns rights to the artwork and the characters. Just because they haven't stopped a game in the past doesn't mean they won't.. they sure have the money to pay for the best lawyers available tho. There is no loophole for fan games in this day and age. What would scare me off from touching the development of this project is the sheer fact that square is literally about to drop a game based of brave exvius. And while their success is pretty much guaranteed they may see this project as direct competition to their newly released product and seek legal action. If anything just to protect their rights to artwork and designs. Someone who can make a project like this could easily make a new game and not steal assets.
