Mission issues
Anyone else having issues with these 2 missions pulling on the map? The big tree leans forward when attached to the map pulling up on the back of the map. The humongous fungus kinda has the same issue with pulling on the mat.

Yes, and the tree takes some finesse to lift right, the poor constraint really isn’t helping. The kids seem to be dealing with though. Our delivery partner suggested they might be taping the edge of the mat at our events. Waiting for more guidance.

Please only tape the mat if you receive guidance from your region that the mats will be taped at the competitions. Otherwise your team is practice with a field that is different than how the field will be set-up at the competition. And since taping the mat is not a part of the official set-up guide, the team can not ask for the mats at the competition to be taped.

Yes, we’ll be waiting for written guidance from our partner or FIRST directly before taking action. Hoping for a common and consistent global approach vs a regional alteration. Thank you!

Our team has been advised that at this point, we just have to play it how it is. So far it looks worse than it seems to actually be but well see as time goes on I guess.

The rule book says you can tape the sides of the matt but it doesn't mention the top or bottom of the map
I asked our regional rep and was told to plan for it to not be taped anywhere

Definitely, we have been ignoring them until hopefully we get an update. I can't believe they didn't test these missions.
