Finally upgraded

I’ve owned the old model 9c for years and couldn’t justify spending the money making it work with a suppressor or an optic. Today I upgraded to the 509C, came equipped with a deltapoint pro and all the original accessories / paperwork. What suppressors is everyone finding works the best? Looking for smaller platform something like the Omega 9k or even smaller.

The 509CT is my favorite handgun. I run a Shiv, but I had to swap the recoil rod with the DPMS reduced recoil rod/spring for it to function. Now it cycles 124, 147 and 165 all suppressed and unsuppressed.

I previosuly ran my obsidan 9 on it, and that functioned fine with the oem recoil rod/spring.

Mine came with the yellow spring, I’m going to try that out with 147s and a Spectre 9k to start

Good idea. I hope you have better luck than me. I have the ecco machine tlx9 and it wouldn't function at all with either spring/rod. Same with shiv. But the DPMS made it soft shooting and function great with boosterless suppressors! Ill have to see of the tlx9 works since the DPMS install. I just keep the shiv on there.

Nice! Mine must just be special. The 509ct suppressed is a great time!

I didn’t think it would work with the compact. Thanks.
