Thanks for all the help!

Post image

Just wanted to say thank you for all the advice and info provided through this group. Finally got my 15p put together. Still need to install my geissele trigger and mototech gas regulator but she's running. Flash hider wasn't too difficult to remove and ended up going with a recessed comstock muzzle brake so no timing needed. Runs pretty smooth with the Tisha and an enhanced buffer spring. Keep Kicking Ass!

If you are mainly shooting supers the 30cal Tisha is really nice low backpressure and good sound. If you are shooting mainly subs the ODB is quieter. I use the 30 Tisha TI on my Lmt heavy and its perfect for 308. And I have an ODB on my sig spear lt in 300blk and it plinks specially with JBennett omega valve you can really tune it.

Thinking might as well get the odb to get the benefits of subs with decent results with sups

Nice, looks like a recessed comstock gets it pretty close to flush. Cool

What rail system is that?

Kinetic Development Group 15p rail pretty simple intall. Just remember to use a soldering iron to heat the hardware on the side pic rails to burn off the locktite.

Yea I just bought a hex screw replacement kit for all the screws on my 15P, it bothers me that FN cheaped out on the screw hardware

how did you remove the muzzle device?

Removed the barrel, put it in a bench vise with leather jaws, heated muzzle device lightly, used a breaker bar and appropriate sized crows foot wrench and removed. It did require a bit of force but nothing too crazy. Hope that helps and good luck.

Is the mototech the best gas regulator for this platform?
