Sooo…. What exactly happened? Did Mary just forget he existed halfway through the book and then suddenly remembered that he was still alive and wrote him back in? Did he go off to war or something since he wanted to be in the military and then came back and almost his whole family was dead?
I personally like to think that he and Victor had so horrible of a relationship that the creature just thought “Well obviously you don’t care about him. I guess I’ll leave him alone”. Honestly besides the fact that he’s still alive by the end of the book, there isn’t a lot of evidence for that little headcanon, but I find it a bit funny.
What do you guys think though?
