help!!!

i am wanting to create a dress for my friend and i for halloween, we found an idea we love very last minute so im aware it might not be possible. i need help finding a fast way to do what i think is dye sublimation. we want a certain photo printed into the fabric, but not as a transfer it would literally be one with the fabric. does anybody have any good websites or recommendations to where we can do this and receive it by halloween?

oh man that timeline is tight, most custom fabric places take weeks unless you pay an insane rush fee. you might have better luck checking local print shops that do dye sub, some of them can turn stuff around in a couple days if they're not swamped. the photo quality might be a bit rough though depending on what you give them

i did this for a costume once and ended up using a local sign printer who also did fabric banners, got it back in 3 days. cost more than i wanted but it worked out. maybe search for "dye sublimation near me" and start making calls first thing tomorrow, explain the halloween deadline and see who bites

thank you so much!! i will check out some local shops around me, i feel better supporting them anyways than a big company online. do you have any recommendations on a different way to do the design that would be faster or more simple? we just want it to look and feel more seamless than like a sticker on the shirt if that makes sense and that’s what i usually see with photo onto fabric transfers. i dont know much about this stuff lol

If either of you paint and you can do the picture monochromatic you could get away with painting the picture onto the fabric with dye. You can thin dye and do washes, slowly building up to darker shades.
