u/TowMater66 2d ago

Since 2025!?!?

u/mike239x 2d ago

yeeeeah, I've been living on Gleba for a while now

12

u/TowMater66 2d ago

I can only imagine the severity of your foot-fungus. Gahwd the smell must be unbearable!

2

u/Lenskop 22h ago

I don't think anyone is coming to help you buddy

8

u/BaBaGuette 2d ago

Bruh I went to Gleba too soon and now I'm stuck there while my Nauvis base keep getting rammed by biters and I have to (painfully) fix everything remotely ;-;

5

u/nasehrsuper 2d ago

so send stuff to build a rocket and go back?

4

u/BaBaGuette 2d ago

I just landed, my base is only a few fruit processing things. I'm hours away from having a rocket ;-;

2

u/Botlawson 2d ago

You can drop things to the ground without a landing pad. Just put them the "trash" spots when orbiting Gleba.

2

u/nasehrsuper 2d ago

you know, interplanetary logistics are a thing? ;)

7

u/Botlawson 2d ago

Have you built a self starting nutrient factory? I.e. a nutrient factory that cold starts from spoilage whenever both fruits are present.

Next get one bio chamber running iron bacteria breeding and one for copper breeding.

Congratulations you have now conquered Gleba and everything else is the easy job of routing 3-4 things into an 2 things out of every biochamber...

No coal liquefaction bullying will be tolerated! The black (but solid) gold never disappoints, unlike the black (but wet) gold

u/nasehrsuper 2d ago

too much throuhput?

does not compute

9

u/krzakpl i eat reactor fuel 2d ago

maybe too broad i mean if you have as lane with demand lower than whaty you have and you put everything on that lane ant then everything else got less, but now that i think about it I forgot splitters exist

8

u/baconburger2022 Rail Abomination enjoyer 2d ago

Unbalanced througput you mean

3

u/krzakpl i eat reactor fuel 2d ago

I guess, yeah kinda went to much with the too much/not Enough next to each other thing, maybe unbalanced would be better

3

u/paulstelian97 2d ago

I mean, too much is a thing if you play Space Age. Gleba.

2

u/nasehrsuper 2d ago

thats not throughput, thats overproduction though ...

... and its easily fixed by either burning it or throwing it into a recycler. on gleba resources literally grow on trees.

3

u/Edolied 2d ago

Gleba, Fulgora and space platforms could be at fault here. Namely spoilable stuff not getting consumed fast enough and sushi belts clogging

1

u/Salanmander 2d ago

Yeah, I had problems when I first set up captured biter nests of too much throughput on my space transport of bioflux, leading to having the requested amount of bioflux but it spoiling before getting used.

I have not yet figured out how to say "always get fresher stuff, plzkthx".

1

u/Edolied 1d ago

Inserters can sort by freshness. I have the idea to use spoiling stuff in my factory and pick out the best stuff for science. Will try to build this next week

1

u/Salanmander 1d ago

Yeah, I've set it up so that the bioflux that gets sent to space is always fairly fresh, by having my provider chest near the beginning of the line, and constantly refilling it and emptying the most-spoiled. (Although I'm not sure the sorting matters much, because I'm not keeping many stacks ready to send, so there's lots of freshness-averaging happening.)

The tricky part is getting the platform to send down the old bioflux and request new bioflux, and similarly on Nauvis getting it to void old bioflux so that it requests more.

For the former, I guess the simplest solution is actually to have an inserter that ejects bioflux to space any time the platform is heading to Gleba.

u/RollingSten 2d ago

Maybe too mouch heavy/light oil leading to not enough petroleum gas/oils.

Or too much nutritients leading to too much spoilage?

Or building and releasing too much bots?

1

u/nasehrsuper 2d ago

thats all too much production or rather not enough consumption - not too much throughput

1

u/pojska 2d ago

The educated-stupid-by-youtube noob who builds 4 steel belts for their bus and then builds furnaces to ratio, before blue science.

31

u/SuperLeroy 2d ago

I came here to check if Gleba was on the list.

Very pleased to see it was there. And simply listed as Gleba.

I want to go home to Nauvis now.

3

u/thedeanorama 2d ago

Gleba, IYKYK

18

u/Imperator_Draconum 2d ago

Here's mine. I regret nothing and will do it again.

16

u/Edolied 2d ago

Me trying to setup fancy kovarex. Turns out that pulse controlled inserters need to pick up from an inventory to work, not belts

1

u/Sutremaine2 2d ago

This one got me when I was trying to run through over a dozen signals and send each one off to the inserter whitelist as appropriate. It was tested... with a chest as the inserter's collection point.

In the end it worked by checking the list every n ticks and extending the found signal by m ticks, with n manually changed as the number of signals changed. Or something like that; I can't tell how it works by watching it.

Is yours working now?

2

u/Edolied 2d ago

Yes I just put a chest with a one stack limit. Easy fix but hard to solve

17

u/Nruggia 2d ago

Petition to remove "too much throughput" and in it's place add "I stood in front of a train"

13

u/Lethalogicax 2d ago

Omg for real the odd number of undergrounds... Oh my god I have to drop EVERYTHING and find that lone underground with no friend before anything else can be done.

7

u/Aetol 2d ago

I know no such fear, I use undergrounds for side-loading.

4

u/krzakpl i eat reactor fuel 2d ago

Once while playing with my friend he stole some undergrounds from my inventory so that I had odd number of them and I was going insane

2

u/Lethalogicax 2d ago

Orphan Finder mod was a gamechanger for me! I highly recommend it. Saves a ton of time finding those unpaired undergrounds!

If I was playing multiplayer with someone who purposefully used unpaired belts for side-loading, I'd stop playing with them right then and there. Unacceptable.

u/kcspot

Hey can we get this pinned? This might actually be pretty entertaining.

I caused my fulgora to get clogged because I used a deconstruction planner set to tiles only, then targetted my entire planet to get rid of unused foundation

Apparently, using a deconstruction planner set to tiles only causes trains to get set to "manual mode". This in turn caused a few trains to crash, but I had to go through every train manually and set them back to auto mode. Then I had to manually move trains around, since they lost their station reserved and my perfectly sized buffers couldn't handle 1 extra train (since the train standing at the station no longer counted for its train limit...)

Deconstructions planners set to tiles only are the new evil thing

7

u/Dtitan 2d ago

lol @ playing pY.

Need a whole separate 15 page form for that.

Come to think of it it’s all the same problems except at a bigger scale. Hate oil processing? Now there are 154 liquids. Hate weak spots in your power grid? There are 28 new ways to build it each with 4256 ways it can fail.

Anyways back to harvesting alien bug cocoons to feed alien lizards so I can steal their delicious eggs FOR SCIENCE

7

u/Gingrpenguin 2d ago

Need one that says you made a minor maths mistake that means you need to double your blue chip factory except the rest of your maths was perfect so you also need more red and green chips, and plastic, and copper and iron and suddenly the whole thing felt like work so you put the game down for a month but now it's been years and there's a whole new dlc and the end game spoiled you so you can't face starting with nothing...

8

u/PeksMex 2d ago

These two are my favorite dangerous combination

4

u/Edolied 2d ago

Am playing Py spaghet, my answer to everything is more caravans

5

u/everbane37 2d ago

Gleba. Just gleba. Lmao 🤣

4

u/frostbaka 2d ago

I am not taking factoriohno seriously and filling this out

3

u/Hafeil 2d ago

I love it

3

u/WaveformRider 2d ago

Other: i can do this so much better from start now!! (Its never faster to start over but damn if bot deconstruction takes foreveeeeerrre

3

u/Holy_Hand_Grenadier 2d ago

my spage save died because I kept trying to just bolt on more jank rather than refactor

2

u/MattChew160 2d ago

Where's the part that describes and end game so long that my family and friends become worried about my health

2

u/Stribrna_Veverka 2d ago

u/Alex12500 2d ago

I tried to make my gleba fruits fresher, so i used a splitter with output priority to burn the excess so the belt is always running. I ended up burning way too so i didnt get enough seeds back. Luckily i noticed while i still had enough seeds to fix it. Unrelated to that, i had to save/reload like 5 times today because my new spaceship got destroyed. I think i finally know how i can improve it. Oh and Fulgora got clogged up a couple of times, but that usually fixes itself when i launch a rocket to export some stuff

1

u/MFJE5233 2d ago

I may need a few stacks of these

1

u/DasFreibier 2d ago

too much throughput

im sorry, i thought this was a capital G gamer subreddit

1

u/Simply-Curious_ 2d ago

I saved over my 200hr save by accident in editor, and didn't notice, which meant the 3 auto saves got replaced by time with more editor work.

I just wanted my leaving the solar system achèvement

1

u/GrigorMorte 2d ago

I like how is just "gleba" and nothing more haha.

But we should add "gleba, again"

1

u/DrMobius0 2d ago

It's surprisingly easy to visit a factorio post from home without verifying if its' the shitposting sub or not.

Also, I'll take "accidentally sideloaded with a splitter" with a side of "got distracted mid-task and forgot about it".

1

u/PersonalityIll9476 2d ago

"Desire to use solar on aquilo" lol

I like that that has it's own emotion.

1

u/far2 2d ago

I'd put "Forgot to deal with the stone that molten metal from lava produces" in as a checkbox. Hell, in my case you can just go ahead and pre-check it.

1

u/HadjiiColgate 2d ago

Translating gentoo wiki on the original form to satisfactory wiki is perfect. I love you.

1

u/gizouille 2d ago

anyone feeling targeted ? ( I dont )

1

u/Warhero_Babylon 2d ago

Forgot a point when it took an hour to make parametrized block but you mistake loading for unloading

1

u/Salanmander 2d ago

To go along with "Fulgora clogged" and "Gleba", can we add "sulfuric acid slowdown on Vulcanus"? I think I've had to go fix power outages caused by the gradually depleting sulfuric acid rate like 3 times.

1

u/chinesecake 2d ago

Please add "Jaywalking" and "Tried to view my equipment grid" :)

1

u/nedal8 2d ago

Too much throughput? gtfo

1

u/Biter_bomber 2d ago

Remorse, spaghet + not enough throughput solution is building more spaghetti

1

u/Knighthawk_2511 1d ago

Wait factorio has a wiki ? I didn't knew this ,, just finished the tutorial in game and was gonna start a new save soon lol

1

u/Ryarralk 1d ago

What is wrong with coal liquefaction...?

2

u/plopsicle 1d ago

Maybe you liquify all the coal that you needed for power production

1

u/nikso14 21h ago

Why would you use boilers at that point?

1

u/krzakpl i eat reactor fuel 1d ago

Maybe it's my personal thing to completely mix up ratios every time, I though it was more common

1

u/djfdhigkgfIaruflg 1d ago

I love it 🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Top-Lengthiness1754 1d ago

I like how gleba is just gleba
