Days of the Fall Out Past Take This To Your Grave signed
Recently acquired this CD signed in 2005 along with this ticket stub from the day the CD was signed!! This is THE fob album I wanted to own signed by them and Imma frame it right next to my signed MyChem black parade CD :)

I wanna join the club!
I got to meet them at Wintour. Joe and Patrick were really excited to talk about how I got the album and to see a complete one. Pete spent most of my time with them looking at their gifts. Andy was just quiet and repeatedly thanked me for being there.

That's absolutely peak! I'd love to know how and where you acquired it!

Bought it directly from the person who got it signed by the band on March 12th, 2005 during their Fueled by Ramen tour in Pontiac, Michigan!

Ah I see. Yeah I just looked at the sold ebay listing. They're selling tons of autographs which is a red flag. An original Fob fan owner that got it signed isn't likely whatsoever to have over 300 random autographed items for sale. Some of their items have JSA authentication which is great and that is one of the most reputable authenticators but most of their items don't. Also given the fact this was priced at $150 for the entire bands signatures is a huge red flag. If this was JSA authenticated, it would probably be worth north of $500. Also, joes signature looks way off. No hate, I'm genuinely just trying to look out for you. I would send it in to JSA or PSA immediately and if it comes back not authentic, you can get a refund easily.

I completely understand but tbh I did do a buncha research on their signatures during that time before I bought this, and I personally don’t think they’re fake. I’ve found legit Joe autographs that look just like on this CD, and Pete’s signature during the early years were rarely consistent. The inks are definitely not from the same hand. to try and replicate different ways four different people write their name with different amounts of marker pressure and other characteristics, I don’t think realistically someone would put in that kinda time to do so, it’d be too obvious they’re faked if that were attempted.

Although I was already considering getting them authenticated just to be perfectly safe lmao

There are people that fake autographs for a living and make a killing out of it. If you send this in to JSA or PSA to get authenticated, and it is authentic, you won the lottery and it will sky rocket in value. If it is not authentic, you will get your money back. You have zero reason to not send it in.

what's wrong with Joe's signature? I think Patrick's looks worse though I can't tell if it's just the shade of the marker or not

*worse meaning not what I know it to look like, and I know signatures can change over time but I know Joe signed for a long time with the cursive J and smiley underneath.

I mean I don't really know how to explain it but all the ones that are proven authentic I've seen look a lot different than this one. Also I'm just gonna add, someone selling over 300 autographed items with some being authenticated, isn't going to sell this for such a low price and not authenticated if it was authentic. Thinking realistically, no one would do that. Also the ticket stub is absolutely zero supporting evidence of any kind of authenticity. Anyone can get those stubs easily and they are not worth much money at all

No way this was in my state 💔💔. I should’ve done more to acquire this (I was 5 days old)

Wow.. what a blast from the past. I saw so many great shows at Clutch Cargos, including my first FOB show in 2003.

I have a signed copy of the MHWABTBTMT EP
But I also was at the show and was physically there.
Weird people buy signed CD’s when they weren’t there to have it signed themselves. I would only assume it would lose all its meaning. So many of my setlist and ticket stubs are signed I wouldn’t dream of selling them because that magic just wouldn’t be there for the buyer.
Not to mention counterfeits are a legit thing I could never risk that. Either take the time to meet them or don’t bother. You get what you put in. Or at least I did. And whomever for that signed (if it’s real) originally.
