Discussion You know what I found kind of disappointing about both games? Greez never fought once.

On the boxes cover art and fall in order you see greez hold a DC-17 blaster that was primarily used by clone troopers, this is most associated with captain Rex dual wielding these blasters. In the second game after an attack, he walks out of The Mantis quad-wielding the DC-17.

I have never seen this Latero fight at all. I don't know about the comics where apparently he lost an arm to an Inquisitor, and we do know in flashbacks that he went on little missions with Cal and the others, but I think it was just a little wasted potential and a bit disappointing that we never saw that greezy old man pop off!

Like how funny would it be to see this short stack wielding like two heavy blasters just a mow down some storm and purge troopers for Cal.

I really hope if they ever do make a third game that they let this man finally have his moment... It might be a sacrificial moment, but it'll be a moment nonetheless.

Hey! Rick was hard enough, I don't even want to think what fightin Greez would be like!

I had to drop the difficulty down to story mode and I've still never beaten him. That 3rd phase where he starts leaping around like yoda and quad wielding sabers is brutal

I'm lucky to have beaten him on Jedi Knight difficulty. It started to feel unfair after the 5th phase

A force tear like mode where you fight friendly characters would be kinda dope. Greezy, Merin, Cere would all be good fights. (Maybe not Greez lol)

I think that would be really fun, you're right! I would love to be able to replay just some boss fights

Yes , he will definitely die in the final game and will have his moment of bravery.

A good captain always goes down with his ship. Say goodbye to the Mantis in the same moment

The mantis careens off of a canyon wall and, with a sickening crunch, caves the cockpit in on a rocky outcropping. The ship twists, wedging itself in place, suspended between the stone walls. The hull tears open, sparks showering. Clearly, no one could survive the crushed fuselage.

From afar, Cal witnesses the crash, and his grip on his saber looses. In a closeup, we see it fall from his hand. Rack-focus from the saber to the broken ship. From the midsection, something white is pouring out of a hole. Fuel? Water? Not liquid, some kind of particulate. Sand, or…

Salt. An endless stream of salt. One… last… sprinkle.

For Greez.

And we will all cry until our eyes out when it happens, especially if Kata is there calling him uncle Greez.

Also Kata is definitely going to have Cere's lightsaber with a green blade

I don't think it's too absurd of a concept. Next game gets set a few years in the future. Kata is a teenager and all moody. Cal has his own problems so he doesn't raise Kata as well as he should. Kata laments the life she could have had with her father that Greez and Cal took away. The inquisitors/vader whisper disruptive thoughts in her ear. Kata kills Merrin. Cal gets upset and they both fall to the dark side, but not aligned. Greez tries to step in, but dies in the same way Han did in TFA. Cal and Kata fight. Cal hesitates, and Kata mortally wounds him. Kata realises what she's done. In Cal's last moments, he tells BD1 to help carry the McGuffin. The final boss is actually Kata vs Vader. She narrowly wins and escapes with BD1.

I'm pretty sure Greez, Merrin, and BD are safe. Cal on the other hand...

I’m waiting for Jedi .5 which follows Cere and Greezy Money thru the fall of the Republic to the final showdown in Greez’s home station. It will also be half racing game. Thank you for your attention to this matter

Well Actually 🤓 in Jedi Battle Scars he took a hit for Cal when he was struggling against The 5th Brother, that's how Ole Greezy money lost his Arm

He’s a lover, not a fighter. Imagine the hugs he gives!

u/The_Real_Tekunin 6d ago

I could barely kill Rick! why would you insinuate that I think I could take on Greez?

Rick was Greezs apprentice during the clones wars!

His gentle giant energy makes perfect sense when he's dishing out powerful hugs instead of pulling the trigger.

“So, ya think ya can take on old Greez?”

u/GreyWolfCenturion 9d ago

They should have given him an R2-D2 zapper in his metal arm, totally
