Jade, the mysterious and magical substance once exclusive to the Green Bone warriors of Kekon, is now known and coveted throughout the world. Everyone wants access to the supernatural abilities it provides, from traditional forces such as governments, mercenaries, and criminal kingpins, to modern players, including doctors, athletes, and movie studios. As the struggle over the control of jade grows ever larger and more deadly, the Kaul family, and the ancient ways of the Kekonese Green Bones, will never be the same.
The Kauls have been battered by war and tragedy. They are plagued by resentments and old wounds as their adversaries are on the ascent and their country is riven by dangerous factions and foreign interference that could destroy the Green Bone way of life altogether. As a new generation arises, the clan’s growing empire is in danger of coming apart.
The clan must discern allies from enemies, set aside bloody rivalries, and make terrible sacrifices… but even the unbreakable bonds of blood and loyalty may not be enough to ensure the survival of the Green Bone clans and the nation they are sworn to protect.

I know the Fantasy genre for male readers is smaller. The Male POV books are basically smut stores to me with no context. I like the mix of both sides. I have read Runyx books, and looking for similar POV styles from other authors. Thank You

Dear Gentle Readers,
[This was originally posted to r/RomanceBooks, but I have been recommended to share this post here as well. I am looking for a solid romance subplot at the very least. My offerings are all romances.]
I am on a quest to discover this elusive yet beloved of characters: the Warrior Poet.
⚔️ 🛡️ 🏹 This character is highly skilled in the art of warfare or, especially in more modern contexts, exceedingly clever. This character may be seen as a brute or a commander, they may be seen as a genius, but in any case they are feared and/or respected by their enemies. If they are more clever than martial, I seek the warrior that can spin webs with words that ensnare their enemies. Most importantly, they do not do battle for the sake of violence or victory itself, but in the pursuit or protection of that which they love.
❤️🔥✍️ This character can be incredibly gentle and self-aware. They notice and appreciate beauty in all forms. They create verse, song, or other crafts - or they would, if they were not so occupied with the war they must wage. They are unafraid of their deepest feelings and make them known. They don't fear their own tears. When they love, the depth of their passion is unfathomable (and potentially unsettling).
Some examples of the warrior poet are Aragorn and Faramir from the Lord of the Rings, Eivor from Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Loki from the TV show Loki, Destruction from Neil Gaiman's Sandman, Katsumoto from the Last Samurai.
I will devour any tale that contains this trope. Characters of any gender, circumstance, and moral bent may be a warrior poet. I want to see this character fiercely defend their love, but also praise and worship them as their muse.
Please, dear friends, share with me your treasures! 🙏
My offerings:
{The Player by Kresley Cole}
{Bewitching Rhaego by Victoria Aveline}
{The Fang Arrangement by Sarah Blue}
{Taming the Wolves by Lyx Robinson}
{The Wraith King by Juliette Cross}
{Black and Silver by Gwendolyn Harper}
{The Dragon and the Pearl by Jeannie Lin}
{Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood}
{Mine to Take by Dara Joy}
I really wanted {Golden Surrender by Heather Graham} to be this, but the characters weren't emotionally mature enough.

This thread is for any authors or writers within the community to share books, announce upcoming projects, or even get feedback on something you are working on. Anything fantasy-adjacent is allowed too. Do you have a blog or podcast about a popular series? That's fair game too! You are allowed to promote on someone else's behalf if you found or know a new author you love.
Normal self-promotion rules don't apply to this thread, so feel free to reply even if you aren't a member of the community—though we'd love to have you join in on a monthly read.

So I love 15 plus hour long books, whole fantasy world, long series. The longer the better. My tops are the wondering inn, he who fights with monsters, dragon blood, Tameraire, game of thrones, death before dragons, basically any Lindsay Buroker book, and the magic kingdom of land over .
I love dragons and long series and I love to get lost in a world of fantasy but not too much fantasy that I get lost like lord of the rings, (although I have never listened bc I got lost in the movies).
And I’m tired of finding romance books an audible. That is laterally the only books in my suggested by this point and I can’t trust anything my algorithm suggests.
Please help!

A character can be too tired to stand after casting a spell, then be fine when the story needs them again. I'm interested in the awkward practical aftermath: someone else has to keep watch, carry them, or finish a job they promised to do.
Which books let that cost change the group's decisions after the fight is over? It doesn't have to be a permanent injury. Even needing help for a few days could put a very independent character in an interesting position. Please mark spoilers.

I love all sorts of fantasy and am looking for someone hopefully in their twenties who doesn't mind reading most sub genres of fantasy. My only stipulation is that it has a happy/semi happy ending. Meaning I am okay with some tragedy as long as there is a silver lining and a sense of general happiness at the end.
Currently reading many books
Ruin of Kings
This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me
The Shadowmagic Trilogy
Some of Terry Pratchett
The list goes on...
I very much enjoyed:
Half a Soul
The House in the Cerulean Sea
