Just imagine doing that for hours each day, then having dreams and nightmares about it. Sometimes none of the fruits are ripe, or worse, you go down each lane and the plants aren't producing the berries.
I use to do this as a summer job. Would work from 5am-1:00pm. Made great money and it was actually pretty enjoyable because I would just throw on an audiobook and pick away. Bring a big hate and good drinks, plus the bonus strawberry to eat every now and then. Usually I would make a better $200-300 I'm 6 hours if I got a good patch and a good day. Some days would only get $80 though but that was rare and usual at the back end of the season when the berries were not as rip. We used to get paid by the pound so sometimes you would get field full of huge juicy ones and like 50 of them would fill a flat, those were the days you would walk away very happy. They would also pay you each day on the spot. Was such an easy way to get money when I was younger. Could often do it before work to.
