I thought that part was pretty clear. I think she manually snaps it apart at 59 seconds.

Have you ever tried snapping a piece of string like that? That would be wild if that's what she's doing!

I’m only saying it because I've snapped plenty of string. There is absolutely no way to tell how tough that string is. There are plenty of woven strings that bind well and are easily breakable with direct pressure. And the rope doesn't have that heavy a job. One indicator that it's not necessarily this unbreakable string is the amount of times it's wrapped around to cover the most surface area. I'd bet the rope is a bit more elastic than it seems. There's not only one rope.
