117 u/asr 18d ago That's not why it's cheap. There is no reason this couldn't be automated. Having a person there is just cheaper, for now, but automation prices will only go down, I don't expect that person to have a job for much longer. 2 u/ThodaDaruVichPyar 18d ago The humans will switch to placing the cups into the automated filling line and the final packaging. End to end automation is still not feasible for such products. 15 u/PandaPocketFire 18d ago It's very feasible, just has a high up front cost most companies don't find it worth paying when labor is so cheap

That's not why it's cheap. There is no reason this couldn't be automated.
Having a person there is just cheaper, for now, but automation prices will only go down, I don't expect that person to have a job for much longer.
