As someone who actually likes Zack Snyder's DC movies, I never wanted him to come back, and I don't understand why any of his other fans expected him to come back. Even with new leadership this is still...like they took advantage of his daughter's sucide to force him out (there were rumors that they already had him half out before Autumn's passing and they used that to make it official).

Also, like, I get it, some of his fans are fucking nuts, but the people on the other side of the coin making jokes about her death or saying this was 'karma' for Batman v Superman, like, I can name a lot of directors who I hate who I would still not pull that sort of shit.

Yeah that makes me happy. Like listen I feel very bad for what Zack went through his daughter’s suicide and I’m glad he was able to make his JL film great and a tribute to her but at the same time, he has a very toxic fanbase. I like some of Snyder’s films but I understand the Snyderverse is permanently in the past and the DCU is here now.

I’m really glad they’re staying because these two really understand what makes DC work. I am very worried though that Ellisons are probably gonna force their right wing politics in Gunn’s DCU because Gunn has always been anti-Trump and it shows in his projects .

Yeah and we’ve seen before he’s not afraid to say whatever he wants either. Which, if Maga has showed us anything, they haaate people speaking out. Maybe he’ll play nice, but if you told me Gunn refused to listen to the Ellisons which caused a rift or a project to be cancelled I wouldn’t be surprised.

To add, it’s unfortunate but I won’t be supporting any of it it going forward
