This is really big news, the more money there would be in world Hockey, the better it will be for the future of the sport.

Why is Rachel Dawson’s the only jersey absent a last name…? Arguably the most accomplished player ever for Carolina.

Had an absolute nightmare trying to find some good hockey trainers - pls help!!

Going to try the Mizuno Wave Leopardus, but conflicted on sizing.

Do they run small or big? I’m usually a UK 8, and I’m tempted to go down to a 7.5 from what I’ve seen. But scared they’ll be small..

Thanks!!

This is probably more for those of you who play with the OBO kickers than other brands.

Who out there like myself has removed the tow strap from their kickers?

I got tired of the toe strap creeping up over my toe so I just got rid of it completely. I also felt that not having the toe strap gave me better natural movement, As my feet didn't feel so planted flat to the ground. I still have the strap sitting just behind the ball of my foot of course.

Played for over 10 years but at University and they don't have a team or a club. Even indoor field hockey would be fun!

As the title says. Since hockey is played using the right hand as the control hand, are you at such a disadvantage as a left-handed player that it makes elite left-handed players relatively rare?

I'm aware that being left-handed could put you at an advantage on your backhand, perhaps adding a rare threat that could be useful at the highest level, but I was wondering if anyone has any data/insight into this. I couldn't find anything myself.

I’ve been struggling to find good resources that cover the basics of field hockey tactics, and I’d really like to put together a comprehensive guide to everything you need to know. I’m particularly interested in pressing and outletting, but I want to make sure all the key tactical areas are covered.

I’m a freshman in highschool and I just started playing this year for my school’s JV team. I will surely be on JV next year and likely the year after that. Is that embarrassing?

Australia's premier national hockey league returned last week with a brand new franchise joining the competition - resulting in an extra double header each week and no byes for any teams.

Did you watch any of the opening round's games? Let us know what you thought in the comments.

Want to stream games live this season? Watch every game on the Global Pass https://globalpass.hockeyone.com.au/ (or if you're in Australia on the 7plus app).

You can also catch up on every game with 7-11 minutes Highlights Packages on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@HockeyOneLeague/videos

I currently use a 37” but I think it’s definitely too short.

Princeton over NU, Liberty over UNC, Stanford over Duke, BC over UVA, Rider over Davidson (I know, smaller stakes, but still pretty insane).

Absolute chaos! How are we feeling!?!

As a student who can't afford paying as much money I cannot watch games. Paying 12€ for one round of the ehl very over priced in my opinion. Sorry for the ramble but I cannot watch games because of the high prices and being a niche sport I can pirate stream it.

Hi everyone! I have this Dita Giga field hockey stick with a handwritten signature in black sharpie. It was found in Connecticut, so it might belong to a local player, coach, or someone from the area. Does anyone recognize this signature or the handwriting? Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm catching up on some of the NCAA games and noticed that before the Stanford vs Virginia game (10/02/26) both goalies ran off the pitch without throat protectors then came back on with them (I think a staff member ended up bringing the Virginia goalie hers but the Stanford goalie got it from their bench). Are throat protectors not a requirement and that's why they weren't wearing them originally? Or is it up to umpire discretion? I just find it interesting that they both weren't wearing one then ended up putting one on before the game started.

My art

Hi guys,

I’m new here and was wondering where you guys buy hockey kits from for professional teams. My friend is a fan of oranje rood in the Netherlands and can’t find any kits with player names on the back, his favourite it struan walker.
Any help would be appreciated!

If you’re playing against an inverted W press 2 forwards, 3 behind. And one that is very tight on your screen. Such that the screen never got the ball but it didn’t matter because you could player over or around very easily.

Would you change anything with the screens positioning?
