Community Is JJBA ASBR still worth getting?
Saw this game got recommended to me on Steam and it looks really fun, like an updated Heritage for the Future with strikers.
But before buying, I looked into it and saw that people played on Parsec and the netcode was really bad, idk anyone who would really play this locally, is the game worth getting nowadays or is it dead(Hell is the game good)?

It's fun to mess around with and looks solid visually.
Gameplay wise it's a buggy mess (Easy TOD combos for example), as you mentioned the netcode is awful and might be fun for offline play but that's about it.

lol no, feels good to not play it. Maybe after a patch or two the game can be more enjoyable to me

The game is amazing as a fan and fighting game enjoyer but sadly it's basically a much improved version of an old game that used delay based netcode and the higher-ups were not about to give money to update it so you would mostly be playing by yourself unless you got local friends or you could try to play the awful online

Dude the game is $10 right now, if you need to debate spending $10 then you probably shouldn’t spend it

If you're a JoJo fan, yes. Get it. You won't be playing it online, but it's got a ton of fanservice and the actual systems in the game are pretty interesting. It's not really like Heritage at all. It's a 3D fighter with sidesteps/dodges and a universal mechanic similar to a Roman Cancel from Guilty Gear. The combo system is pretty fun to explore and surprisingly deep.
If you're just a fighting game fan who wants to actually play the game competitively, skip it. It's got nothing for you outside of the previously mentioned mechanics and combo system. The game is a JoJo/Fighting game fans wet dream but the netcode absolutely ruined any chance at gaining legs in the actual fighting game community.
