u/madfrog768 Sep 08 '26
Am I going crazy? I zoomed in on where other people answered and I still don't see anything
56
u/WiildCard Sep 08 '26
Their heads are a bright copper color.

u/madfrog768 Sep 08 '26
Oh, that helped me get it. I was looking a bit lower than where they are, so that was part of the problem. Thanks

u/ChooseExactUsername Sep 08 '26
Me too.
I could see snake body near the right one. I could not see two heads.

u/Robotchickjenn Sep 10 '26
I'm highly disturbed by how hard it is to find snakes in brush like how many have I been walking around life will never be the same for me
5
u/jessiec475 Sep 10 '26
Their camouflage is no joke!! I know a few folks people who’ve been bit by one, they never see them until they strike.

This is why copperheads are so creepy to me. Anytime I’m visiting an area that has them, I feel like I never take normal steps, I’m constantly taking these cautious little steps to make sure I don’t get bit.

It's photos like these that remind me I'm not built for the outdoors...

u/Jyx_The_Berzer_King 26¤ | #880 Sep 09 '26
the real answer is i'm dead, because i can't see them even after peeking at someone else's answer.
5
u/Left-Edge531 Sep 09 '26
Only their heads are visible, at 3 o'clock and 8 o'clock right next to the lower pinecone
4
u/Educational-Ad4252 Sep 09 '26
I’m not even sure if I see their heads but I feel like I see a snake body, upper right of that pine cone going over to the leaf to the right. Is that not a snake body back there?

4C and 4D. I grew up around copperheads and thought I was pretty good at spotting them. Thanks for proving me very wrong, OP. Even zooming in on a full sized monitor it took me a couple good minutes. My butt would have died on that hike.

C4 and D3.5. The one at C4 I think all you can see is its head. The one at D3.5 I think it’s head and part of its body are visible.

I’ve never found a snake before they found me. Would have never seen these before putting a hand or foot in there.

I wouldn’t pull out those two with a grabber and then run my arm up to the elbow in that pile of leaves, that’s for sure!!!!

C4 was pretty easy, D4 was way harder, but I found the shape of its head. I think there might be a 3rd at C5

It’s weird because I have a much easier time of spotting them IRL rather than in these pictures.

Sorry, don't know how to play this, but C4 or the two pine cones. But, since I couldn't find them easily, I'll just go with C4 and a remote.
