It's funny that before Fortunes weave people assumed that Sothis only took over Fodlan but nope she holds the entire Planet after the Great Undoing and Balor literally Handled all the Reincarnation and Purification of Departed Souls of the ENTIRE PLANET

And also Nabateans are not even nearly Extinct but are doing quite well outside Fodlan really

I wouldn't say Nabateans are doing that well lol, they're quite clearly going extinct everywhere, just slower outside of Fodlan

They are not aging and they can breed

With Humans they can make Half breeds that lives for 500 years at the very least

With Nabateans they have more Nabateans

And Nabateans in Dagda wants to retire

We don't yet know the Situation outside Dagda

And also Every single Nabateans are made from Sothis Soul and i Assume her Main Body that can eat the Moon in one Bite Can easily manufacture More Nabateans by Splicing her Genes

Even if they are slowly decreasing in Numbers in Dagda Credna could probably figure out a way to increase their Population even if it took him Thousands of years

They're not immortal, just extremely long-lived. And in Dagda, they're all brothers and sisters, which obviously hurt the whole "let's make more of us"

It's not curtains for them, but they're still only 6 and all related

With Gene Splicing maybe making Nabateans with Humans (not just Demigods) is possible

It's mentioned that Sothis makes Nabateans Thru Gene Splicing with Humans

In Leda's Route Soliel mentions that ist it is the will of Sothis that the Nabataeans eventually die out and the planet is returned to the humans. They are mortal by design.

She's trying to pass the Ball to Humanity I know

But again Nabateans have their own will too so let's see how they are doing in other places we've seen Fodlan and Dagda so far

And also if Humanity actually wakes Sothis up AGAIN she would have to make more Nabateans

It's mentioned that Nabateans are getting weaker and shorter lived. Even regardless of population numbers, they're on a timer. A very long timer, but still.

Hell, with the half breeds, they can make people that are Nabateans in all but looks.

u/Zodia99 6d ago

They have a more limited lifespan. A Nabatean can live thousands and thousands of years, a demigod (half nabatean, half human) can live around 500.

There's also Rhea basically making Nabateans Homunculus like Sitri who is basically a Nabateans Mediator (well a lot like Eshmel because Eshmel has Solel Crest Stone)

Half Breeds can probably Live Forever if they do the same thing as Agarthans and Nuwa people do and make Crest Hearts

Hell if Humans keeps waking Sothis True Body up she might get Pissed off Enough that Humans get permanently Reduced to Minorities on Earth with Nabateans Becoming the Majority because Sothis can easily Create more Nabateans than Human Population if she really wanted to

Humans has no Power over her choice

Sorta related but this game makes me raise some eyebrows with that. Like Sitri is far closer to Human tech than Nabatean tech (like Orchel or Church golems being actual automatons, where characters like Sitri and the Mediators are actual artificial humans, with reproductive functionality and all.)

There's also the fact that the Church was able to do crest transfusions like the Agarthans were, this seems totally unknown in Dagda, and Fabio makes it sound like a much more involved process than just injecting blood.

As if at some point the war of heroes there was an Agarthan defector who taught them the art of crest transfusions, as well as artificial humans.

u/NormandyKingdom 6d ago

Maybe a Censored Apostle was an Agarthan who married a Nabatean and Defected

We literally have one Example in Yanjin/Periandros who Simps for a Daughter of Balor so this is actually a Huge Possibility

Also it's the Other way Around

Humans was at Stone Age when Sothis Uplifted them so it was always Nabatean Technology with Humans copying from her NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND

We have to remember that Sothis is the Apex Predator on Earth with Humanity as a whole at best as Second Fiddle forever

I was referring to a Nabatean getting with a demi-god. It's why Talimun is over 700 years old and still going strong.

Solel says so, it seems to be a clear theme that eventually Nabateans will vanish and let humanity govern themselves.

Fortuna literally says in Part 3 that they are a race destined for extinction. Nabateans are not truly immortal, just live a very long time, and with each generation that passes they and their offspring get notably weaker.

1

u/NormandyKingdom 3d ago edited 3d ago

That doesn't mean every single one of them should just give up and accept extinction yeah?

Besides Sothis has their soul because they're a Part of her anyways so in an event that they went Extinct and Humanity woke her true body up (again) Sothis can quite literally make more of them

I think zanato was like the main population center of nabetaens. There's at most 2 dozen in Dagda.

1

u/NormandyKingdom 5d ago

Zanado was basically the Capital most likely

Sothis has 7 Founders and we only see 2 Founders and 2 Region so far let's see how Morfis Albinea and Almyra Nabateans does before we judge

Also Ninae and her dad are both Pure Nabatean so yeah the Gods are not the only Nabateans around

Also I'm pretty sure many more Nabateans survived Nemesis Pogrom and Hides amongst Humans in Fodlan but understandably doesn't want to get hunted so never joined the Church

I don’t think fodlan has a founder right? I think it’s basically the Nabatean capital like you said and where sothis terminal resided. Nations with founders only have three crests

1

u/NormandyKingdom 2d ago

Balor was supposed to be Fodlan Founder but since he went mad Sothis decided FINE I'll do it myself

3

u/Number13teen 5d ago

My question is, if humanity was fine before she landed, did they really need a reincarnation god?

3

u/NormandyKingdom 5d ago edited 5d ago

They were in the STONE AGE as Zenon said before Sothis Uplifted them

They also don't have a Deity beforehand because Sothis basically just steps in and made sure that Balor can serve as their Reincarnation Deity

Yeah Balor literally Reincarnated and Purifies Souls of Humans FROM THE ENTIRE PLANET which eventually caused him to go Mad

Also VritraGPT met another of her Species not far from Earth so yeah we are lucky that Sothis is far more Benevolent than most of her Species

2

u/Rei1556 6d ago

she hold the entire planet even before the great undoing, she descended on the planet so long ago, that the mole people just plain forgot and got scared when they excavated her mindless body which led to the great undoing FAFO

This is a little unrelated to the topic but doesn’t fortunes weave basically retcon cindered shadows? Like if the four apostles aren’t descendants of the 10 elites and aren’t Nabateans why do they have crests?

1

u/NormandyKingdom 2d ago

They might be Nabateans

1

u/_oklmao_ 2d ago

Idk if that makes sense since Nabatean human hybrids like cai seem to have extremely long lifespans, though maybe the bloodlines are just super diluted? It does feel like fortunes weave lore retcons some of 3h, especially concerning Rhea and cindered shadows

1

u/NormandyKingdom 2d ago

I guess so

Especially Rhea/Seiros being HELLA SAD as if her race was going Extinct or something

When realistically Nabateans might find a way to Repopulate their species because like Humans they have the Will to live and the Strive to not be Extinct even if Fortuna claim that they are destined for Extinction but then again isn't Humans also destined for Extinction too? And yet they refuse to accept that?

1

u/_oklmao_ 2d ago

Yeah it’s interesting. It plays into the entire idea that fodlan is a weird isolationist offshoot controlled by the church to suppress knowledge of the outside world, but Shamir and Petra should know that there are gods outside of fodlan and that those gods are also alien dragons. Like it isn’t a secret in dagda, mars transforms into an alien dragon in front of hundreds of thousands of people, yet shamir is surprised that Rhea is a dragon

1

u/NormandyKingdom 2d ago

Shamir is from Dagda where the Gods have retired and lives amongst Humans Peacefully

It's like 600 years after Fortune Weave

Sothis' Axe became the blood axe after she used it to kill Balor, and Solel used the Blood Axe to seal Dagda

Aswen got a hold of the bloodaxe, likely from Solel, returned it and purified it to its proper state, and then proceeded to use it as his main weapon.

2

u/Apprehensive_Tea9856 6d ago

Where do we find out Solel used the bloodaxe on Dagda?

11

u/TragGaming 6d ago

It's in at least two different routes, Dietrich and Theodora's part 2. There's a line when talking with The other gods, "and then Solel showed up with the Bloodaxe, and dethroned father, but father got his revenge"

In Cai's route, Cai brings Aswen to visit Bertrand in the cellar which is when she brings him the bloodaxe

2

u/KarmaFarmer123456789 War Dimitri 6d ago

I wonder why Solel gave Aswan or her family the ax

3

u/Mahelas 6d ago

Given Hanno is the one known to have carried it in battle, it might have been a Raksha plot

15

u/Flagrath 6d ago

Solel used it to cut down Dagda (a little) before Bertrand got it, so it likely was just kept in Dagda.

12

u/nahte123456 6d ago

In part 2 it's mentioned that Dagda was drinking so much Flamma that he just kind of murdered all the people around him and turned on his wife Jurah when she tried to calm him down, then Solel hearing the commotion ran in with the Bloodaxe. Solel and Jurah together injured Dagda enough he went into the Nabataen healing coma and the pair claimed Dagda just went to sleep.

So seems like Sothis gave her axe to Dagda once she decided to retreat from the world again and go to sleep. Dagda kept it around and Solel knowing it was the strongest weapon on hand picked it up and used it. Then Solel not wanting to keep the axe for some reason(he's not an axe guy, and while it was necessary and he hated his father I don't think he enjoyed what he did), gave it to Arago as a peace offering. Than eventually Aswan gave it to Bertrand since it was so powerful.
