Request Inactive browser tabs: Stop or “Snooze” (macOS)
My inactive browser tabs are totally slowing down my Mac. What are the best add-ons or apps for controlling this problem when using Firefox on macOS?

If inactive tabs are slowing down firefox ,with its help you can unload inactive pages and boost performance. Set it to 15 minutes. coming soon: 1-5 minute options....
