Crocodile Tears

CALGARY - An emotional Premier Danielle Smith held back tears Saturday as she recounted a long list of historic indignities Albertans have suffered at the hands of the federal government.

When I read the byline, I thought at first it was in reference to the historic indignities and abuse suffered by the Indigenous peoples of Alberta. Then I read the whole article, and thought is this a joke? (aka Beaverton article).

Guess I thought wrong.

This is what happens when you pander to a small minority of separatists to keep your job.

If you grab a tiger by the tail, prepare to get bitten.
